The Space:

The apartment features two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The downstairs primary bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and easy access to a remodeled private bathroom. Upstairs, the loft-style suite boasts an en-suite bathroom and is accessible via a spiral staircase, perfect for the kids! The loft bedroom also includes a full-sized and a twin bed. Each bedroom is equipped with a Roku-connected smart TV for all your streaming needs. The fully-equipped kitchen is ready for you to create a gourmet meal, with a dining table seating four and additional bar stool seating. Relax in the comfortable living room, complete with two couches and a 65" smart TV with premium cable and streaming options. Enjoy fast and reliable Wi-Fi with speeds exceeding 100 Mbps.

The Neighborhood:

Golf Colony Deerfield is an ideally located, quiet and comfortable resort in the heart of Surfside Beach and very close to so many great options. Just 1.5 miles from the closest Surfside Beach access, you will be almost anywhere on the South Strand in under 15 minutes! Getting Around:

Getting around is easy! We're just a 15-minute drive from Myrtle Beach International Airport. Uber and similar services are readily available, with rides typically costing between $20-$25. For exploring Surfside Beach and nearby areas, consider renting a gas-powered golf cart. Please note that electric carts are not recommended due to the lack of charging stations.



Other Things to Note:

For your stay, we provide linens, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. The kitchen is equipped with essential supplies like a roll of paper towels, hand soaps, and 2 dishwasher and 2 laundry pods and the bathrooms are stocked with two rolls of toiler paper each. which are all included in the "cleaning fee". Don't forget to bring your own beach and pool towels. Taxes are not included in the nightly rate.



To ensure a safe and smooth stay for all guests, we use a secure guest portal that includes your rental agreement, local recommendations, and access to any upsells that may be available to you. As part of this process, the portal does ask for a copy of a valid photo ID for verification and liability purposes. For your safety, the link to the portal is sent directly through the platform’s message thread.

Beach Condo

The condo is a short drive to Surfside beach. We stayed here for a baseball tournament so we weren't at the condo very much. The condo was clean but does need some maintenance. We didn't have enough washcloths and someone was very quick to respond and bring us some, which was great.

When we got home from our stay my daughter realized she left her necklace hanging in the bedroom she had stayed in. I contacted the property manager and he called me back the next morning with the necklace in hand and mailed it to me. We received it about a week later. There are not too many honest people out there anymore. My family and I will be staying her again in the future.

The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. The only things we were glad we brought were cookie sheets, roasting pan, and a large flat skillet/pot. The personalized wall art was a nice touch. We called ahead to ensure that there was internet because my husband works from home. They have it, but the connection was very unstable, with the signal dropping every 5 to 50 minutes. My husband ended up exceeding our data plan by using his wi-fi hotspot. He tried the Starbucks, but it was too loud for conference calls. Also, ensure that you receive the keys for the pool. They weren't in the initial envelope we received, so there were some tense moments when our teenage son followed another guest into the pool just to find out that the house key he planned to use didn't work on the lock he needed to exit the pool area. Thankfully the linen guy was in the office after hours, and found the pool key we should have received.

It was on the wrong side of the very busy main road from the beach, but if you are aware of this, and don't mind the added drive time, it was a very good alternative to expensive and noisy beach accommodations.
