Beautiful cabin, had everything we needed. Hosts were great, they didn’t send an extreme list of rules or checkout instructions. Everything was very simplified & common sense. Would stay again!
What a cute cabin! Five of us enjoyed a great few nights at the cabin. The host was very quick to respond to any questions/concerns that we had. The only thing to note would be that the cabin needs a good deep cleaning (cobwebs and spiders the ceilings) and a restocking of kitchen items.
We absolutely loved this place! It was perfect for the 8 of us! The cabin had everything we needed-actually even more than we expected! The owners really have considered every single detail! We were able to enjoy hiking and activities around Red River Gorge and then come back to the perfect spot to unwind and have the best family time ever! Everyone loved swimming and canoeing in the pond too!
Positives: very remote, nice hot tub, beautifully stocked kitchen, pretty pond, plenty of room/ bathrooms for our whole groupNegatives: smells of cigarette smoke, dryer does not dry well, lots of spider webs, animal hair on one bed and blankets had to be washed before we could sleep, holes in towels
The cabin was clean. We enjoyed the lake view and the canoe.

The house and setting are lovely, however there were not enough dishes for five people, need new pots and pans, no colander to drain pasta water, one side of toaster didn’t work, multiple light bulbs were burned out, right side of kitchen sink kept clogging, and there was sand in the hot tub. Someone needs to clean the hot tub. The water pressure was very low as well. I probably would not rent this again.

Thanks for the feedback, but am confused if this was for our property. We have plenty of dishes, a set of 8 and a strainer for pasta. We checked the cabin based on this review and only found a couple light bulbs out that are accent lighting in the kitchen. The sink drains fine. The hot tub is drained and refilled after every guest. We’re always happy to help if a guest needs help finding something or if something is actually missing. This guest didn’t contact us once during their stay.
Very nice stay here for long family weekend. Had a bit of difficulty finding cabin but host was very helpful. Had fun playing games, fishing in lake and just relaxing.
My family of 6 stayed in this cabin and it was incredible! The cabin is very spacious, the hot tub was nice, and the fire pit was nice as well. The kitchen had everything needed to cook most meals. The owner provided firewood for the fire pit which was unexpected. The location is a short drive from most trails and things to do around Red River gorge. Would love to stay here again.
The house could use a good cleaning. There were damp towels left in the dryer which we dried and folded. There are no wine glasses. The keypad worked intermittently. The location was great and close to lots of hiking. We enjoyed the porch and dock area. We loved the 4 en-suite bedrooms. All in all…great location and nice house.
This property was perfect for our family's long weekend getaway. The lake was perfect! The fire wood provided by the host was a wonderful unexpected touch! This was our 3rd mini vacation this year and we all agreed our favorite house of them all.
Beautiful property. Wonderful and responsive host. It was super clean and just as pictured. Hot tub was newer and very nice after a day of hiking. I would absolutely stay again.
Cabin was beautiful and well stocked, plenty of space and amenities. The lake was full of bluegill, the canoe was fun and the location was private and secure. We had a great time exploring trails, kayaking, Natural Bridge and more.
My family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights and were very comfortable the entire time! The kitchen was adequately stocked with all of your cooking needs, the hot tub was amazing and everyone had enough space to spread out. We’ve stayed at RRG many times and this was by far our favorite place.
We had a wonderful stay! The host was a great communicator and even gave recommendations about things to do. The cabin was very clean and stocked well with everything we needed. The hot tub was a really nice thing to come back to after spending the day hiking. We even saw several deer on the property which my 4 yo grandson loved!

Thank you Kerry! We love the deer at Cliffview Estates. They don't seem to mind humans as much as other deer. Happy to hear you grandson enjoyed them.
Everything was great in the home. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit because we were so busy exploring. We did enjoy the hot tub every evening. The kitchen is well equipped but could use a cookie sheet or two. Coffee bar was well stocked. The only minor draw backs we had are floors were dusty (bare feet got dirty quickly), not all bathrooms had face and hand towels, and under sink cabinets were a little dirty. We did love our stay and would do it again.
We stayed here with a family of 7 plus a toddler, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience!First, the location was perfect. We were just minutes from some of the best hiking I’ve ever done, and we even went zip-lining right at the entrance of the community. The staff there were amazing. They were so friendly and kept us laughing the whole time.Although we only stayed for a long weekend, we packed in so many activities. We fished right off the dock (even caught a few bass!), grilled steaks, and enjoyed the board games our thoughtful host provided. The house had everything we needed and more. Traveling with a big family, you’re bound to forget something. We forgot coffee creamer and trash bags but to our surprise, the home was fully stocked. Not just the “starter pack” most rentals provide, but plenty of extras: trash bags, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee creamer, sugar, and more. For a big group, those little touches make a huge difference! The home itself was perfect for our large family. Our grandson especially loved the spacious deck. He had a blast running around and watching everyone fish.We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are already talking about coming back. This house is truly a gem! 10 out of 10

This property has a lot going for it - nice quiet location, great fire pit setup, lovely covered porch and hot tub, and a nice bathroom attached to each of the bedrooms. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin. When we arrived the sheets on the beds were dirty (leaves, sticks, and grit in the sheets) and the floors were also gritty and dirty. So after a 6 hour drive to get there, the first thing we had to do was wash all the bedding and broom sweep all the floors. Other smaller, but irritating, issues were that the cabin was not stocked with things like trash bags, paper towels, tissue, or coffee pods. All things that every other vrbo property we’ve ever rented has provided. The hot tub did get hot, but the jets didn’t work. One of the shower faucet controls is backward, so it took us a call to the owner to figure out how to get hot water. There is a charcoal grill, but it was so rusted that we had to make a trip out for foil before we could cook. We were also disappointed that the listing said it was “lake front”- but it was on a muddy little pond. Overall, the cabin was adequate but not anything near exceptional.
