Place is great! Vrbo is not

We loved the house. Amazing views, close to a restaurant bar, and price was great for property of that size. Definitely will return. Vrbo on the other hand, did not let the property management know I rented the place, and I had to bug the owner day of to get access. It was a pain

Host profile image
As the caretakers of this breathtaking Hood Canal property, we're passionate about sharing the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest with our guests. Our family has deep roots in the Brinnon area, and we take great pride in offering a truly immersive experience in this unique ecosystem.

We're avid outdoor enthusiasts ourselves, always eager to explore the Olympic National Park, kayak in Dabob Bay, or simply watch for wildlife from our deck. Over the years, we've cultivated an intimate knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and hidden gems that make this region so special.

Our goal is to provide more than just a place to stay – we want to offer you a gateway to adventure and tranquility. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an action-packed outdoor vacation, we're here to help you make the most of your time in this incredible corner of the world.

We believe in responsible tourism and have made conscious choices (like removing the hot tub) to preserve the delicate balance of our local environment. We hope you'll join us in appreciating and protecting this magnificent natural setting during your stay.

Why they chose this property

We chose this extraordinary location in Brinnon for its unparalleled natural beauty and serene atmosphere. Nestled between the majestic Olympic National Park and the tranquil waters of Hood Canal, this neighborhood offers a perfect blend of wilderness and coastal charm.

What we love most about this area is its untouched, pristine quality. Here, nature reigns supreme. The Dosewallips Wildlife Estuary right at our doorstep provides a constant showcase of the Pacific Northwest's diverse ecosystem. Bald eagles soar overhead, seals bask on nearby shores, and if you're lucky, you might spot the local elk herd wandering through.

The neighborhood's rural character allows for a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Yet, we're not completely isolated - the famous Geoduck Restaurant and Lounge is just a short walk away, offering a taste of local flavor and community.

The panoramic views from our property never cease to amaze us. On clear days, the sight of both Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker rising above Hood Canal and Dabob Bay is simply breathtaking. These vistas, combined with the peaceful sound of lapping waves and chirping birds, create an atmosphere of profound tranquility.

We also appreciate the recreational opportunities this location provides. Whether it's exploring the vast Olympic National Park, fishing for salmon in Hood Canal, or kayaking in the calm waters of Dabob Bay, there's always an adventure waiting just outside our door.
This neighborhood embodies the essence of the Pacific Northwest - wild, beautiful, and endlessly inspiring. It's a place where you can truly connect with nature, find peace, and create lasting memories. We fell in love with this magical spot, and we're certain our guests will too.

What makes this property unique

Our property stands out as a true Pacific Northwest gem, offering an unparalleled blend of natural beauty, comfort, and adventure. Here's what makes it unique:

National Geographic-worthy views: Our estate boasts sweeping vistas of Hood Canal, Dabob Bay, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Baker - a panorama so stunning it could grace the pages of National Geographic.

Private waterfront access: With stairs leading directly to the beach and a large dock, guests enjoy exclusive access to nearly 29 acres of pristine tidelands at low tide.
Wildlife wonderland: Located next to the Dosewallips Wildlife Estuary, our property is a haven for diverse wildlife. Guests can spot bald eagles, herons, seals, and even orcas right from the deck.

Olympic National Park backdrop: With the park at our backdoor, we offer immediate access to some of the most spectacular wilderness in the country.
Versatile outdoor spaces: Our large upper and lower decks provide ample room for relaxation, dining, and soaking in the views.

Water sports paradise: From swimming and fishing, our waterfront location is perfect for aquatic adventures.

Rustic luxury: Our home combines cozy, timber-inspired decor with modern amenities, creating a space that's both comfortable and in harmony with its natural surroundings.
Year-round appeal: Whether it's summer kayaking or winter storm-watching by the fireplace, our property offers unique experiences in every season.

Eco-conscious decisions: We've made choices like removing the hot tub to preserve the local ecosystem, appealing to environmentally-minded travelers.
Proximity to local gems: Just a short walk away is the renowned Geoduck Restaurant and Lounge, voted one of the best bars in the USA.

This unique combination of natural wonders, comfortable amenities, and local attractions makes our property a one-of-a-kind retreat for those seeking to immerse themselves in the best the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
