About this property

Waterfront Getaway, Beautiful Hood Canal

NOTE (as of 4/1/2020): Our guests' health and safety has always been a priority for us at HCBH. In response to COVID-19, we are adjusting our turn-over times to allow our housekeeping group the time they need to complete a thorough deep-cleaning (including sanitation precautions) between each guest stay, consistent with the CDC recommendation. Thank you for understanding. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Our family Beach House is located on the beach of the western shore of Hood Canal. The surrounding waters of Hood Canal leave all those that venture here, mesmerized with fabulous memories of those visits. Experience the majestic views of Hood Canal, Mount Rainier and the fabulous snow-capped Olympic Mountains. The Olympic Peninsula is the place to enjoy hiking, biking, bird watching and strolling the Olympic Peninsula beaches just to name a few. The location of our home cannot be beat with local hikes and hot-spots (we see you Hama Hama Oyster Company) within a few miles. The house is fully equipped to make your stay easy--full-stocked kitchen, coffee pot and microwave, cable/internet, Bed and bath linens are provided. We hire a local Professional Cleaning Service to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness. Our housekeeping group takes pride in their work to ensure your stay will beat your expectations. Our Vacation Home is an easy commute from Seattle, two hours from the Bainbridge ferry or about one hour from the Kingston ferry. We welcome you to stay and hope we can share the value we have experienced here over many years.

There are two public boat launches near by, Both Pleasant Harbor Marina (3 miles north and better of the two) and Triton Cove (10 miles south) are free and operated by Washington State Parks and can be found online.

What makes this property unique

Spectacular & Panoramic Views from the Hood Canal Beach House will totally whisk you away from the daily grind. The floor to ceiling windows brings the outdoors in and the nautical ambiance will have you craving to explore our public beaches or kayak along our two rivers.

We do have a mooring buoy in the bay in front of the house. It is labeled with a big 'A'. Since we are located on the Duckabush River delta your boat may not be accessible at tides under 3.0'. Please be mindful of the tides. Do not try to access your boat when moored at the buoy by walking out to it, you will get stuck in the mud.
