This chalet of 400 Sqm (4,300 Sq ft) is located on the alpine hills of Evian, in a quiet and safe area surrounded by a +5,000 Sqm (+50,000 Sq ft) garden, and with exceptional views on the Lake Geneva and the Alps. The villa has 8 spacious bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (inc. 5 WCs) and showcases a modern architecture labeled “20th Century Heritage” and world-famous designer furniture. The villa itself is surrounded by a large balcony, has two large living-rooms facing the lake and has a beautiful patio with trees. The garden also includes a completely renovated traditional alpine chalet.

beautiful villa in Evian

View over the lake is breathtaking. The Villa is lovely. The kitchen is outdated which comes as a surprise compared to the rest of the villa. Overall a great space.

Villa für eine perfekten Aufenthalt.

Für Architekturfans ein Bijou à la Corbusier. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren 8 Freunde und haben uns in den grosszügigen Räumen sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist toll. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Die Boulangerie und die Boucherie sind sehr zu empfehlen.Für eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern ist die Villa nicht ideal (wertvolles Interieur).

Nous avons vraiment passé d’excellentes vacances dans ce cadre somptueux. Nous rentrons tous avec de beaux souvenirs et ma belle-mère est comblée d’avoir fêté ses 90 ans avec toute sa famille dans un endroit aussi spectaculaire.

Top Adresse mit traumhaftem Blick über den Genfer See

Wir haben mit unserer Großfamilie, 14 Personen, dieses Quartier gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig, 9 Zimmer und 5 Bäder, alle haben bequem Platz gefunden. Das Wetter war nicht optimal, mehr Regen als Sonne, aber wegen zweier sehr großen Wohnzimmer konnten wir uns unproblematisch im Haus aufhalten, ausführlich Spiele machen und und miteinander kommunizieren.

Un peu déçue......

L'impression générale à notre arrivée a été très bonne : beaux espaces, belle vue, environnement calme mais ensuite la vétusté de la cuisine, des salles de bains et de la vaisselle nous ont surpris. Trop de déco fragile dans les salons, certaines chambres en sous-sol sont humides et sentent le moisi. Le salon du bas a été impossible à chauffer correctement. L'ensemble a besoin d'une rénovation.

Lovely villa

The villa is very well situated to visit both France and Switzerland and yet only a few minutes' walk from the lake. The owner's description regarding the property is accurate. Our group consisted of adults aged between 26 and 83 and 2 young children. There was ample space for everyone to relax or play in the various living rooms or the impeccable gardens. We would all be truly very happy to return. Just one very easily remedied complaint was the level of cleanliness which didn't match this 5-star property.

Das haus ist sehr schön, wir haben die ferien genossen. Die diversen kunstobjekte haben wir der kinder wegen weggeräumt. Die küche ist gut ausgerüstet, zum teil etwas alt. Die sauberkeit der böden liess zu wünschen übrig. Wir reinigten sie dann selbst. Die badzimmer waren sehr sauber. Das haus kann empfohlen werden.

Une villa et une vue de rêve

Pour les amoureux d’architecture et de sérénité … Villa de très haut niveau de standing (hauteur sous plafond, portes toute hauteur, dimension des pièces, équipements, mobilier) La vue sur le lac et les Alpes est bluffante, les terrasses permettant d’en profiter sont très larges Rapports tant avec le propriétaire qu’avec la chargée d’accueil très agréables et prévenants . A refaire au plus vite ….

Un lieu exceptionnel sans équivalent

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à Evian. Cette maison moderne des années 50 /60 a été entièrement conservée dans son état d’origine. L’espace moderne est magnifique. Il permet d’observer un panorama sur le lac d’Évian qui change à chaque instant. La famille escoubes est très vigilante pour ses hôtes. C’est certainement l’une des villas les plus belle d’abritel.

Nous étions 14 en Famille . A vivre et à revivre pour ceux et celles qui on envie de se resourcer , vue à 180° sur le lac ,maison très lumineuse même par temps maussade, spacieuse ,cheminée ouverte . Petit retour nostalgique en 1960 ou tout y est fonctionnelle et tout est à sa place , Bravo à Mr Maurice NOVARINA Architecte pour cette belle réalisation. Yves et Muriel

Très beau séjour en Famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison remarquable par son architecture. Une vue à couper le souffle sur le Lac!!!! Des tableaux différents à chaque heure de la journée. Nous reviendrons!

beautiful house with view over the lake (for groups/families)

We loved the house. The view over the lake was breathtaking. It was decorated with style and we liked sitting on the balcony or in the living room and enjoying the view. The kids loved the fact they had their own floor and a large garden where they could play frisbee. There were a lot of activities you can do with children. Highly recommended was the Evian Nautical centre. You can swim in the pool pool as well as the lake. Our youngest jumped from 10 m. diving board. We also took the boat to Lausanne which is only 30 min. by boat. The landlord sends you detailed info with all of the activities you can do. We will definitely come back!

Une semaine au TOP!

Nous avons séjournés une semaine dans cette superbe villa. L'emplacement idéal de cette dernière nous permettait d'aller skier à Bernex ( petite station qui a ravie les enfants). Ou d'aller se promener à Evian juste à côté. Et quel bonheur de pouvoir manger avec une vue imprenable sur le Lac Léman. Villa très spacieuse laissant à chacun un espace. Des pièces communes très appréciables. Des propriétaires très à l'écoute et réactifs. Merci encore de nous avoir permis de passer une si agréable semaine dans votre magnifique maison. Peut-être aurons nous la possibilité un jour d'y retourner!

tolle Villa!

Wir haben Silvester 2016 auf 2017 mit 15 Personen dort gefeiert. Wir waren uns vor der Buchung unsicher, ob es diese Villa wirklich für diesen Preis gibt und waren positiv überrascht. Die Villa hat einen tollen Blick und liegt zu Fuß nicht einmal 5 Minuten von dem Hotel, wo die Nationalmannschaft während der EM 2016 gewohnt hat (Ermitage Hotel) entfernt. Zur Fähre nach Lausanne kann man laufen und zum Skifahren nach Portes du Soleil sind es ca. 30 Min mit dem Auto. Auch mit vielen Personen ist genügend Platz und die Küchen sind mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Der Vermieter antwortet sehr schnell auf Fragen und auch die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort ist sehr nett und es hat alles gut geklappt. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Fantastisches Haus in großartiger Lage

Wunderschönes, ruhig gelegenes Haus oberhalb von Evian mit großem, sehr gepflegtem Garten und spektakulärem Blick auf den Genfer See. Wir verbrachten mit acht Journalistenkollegen während der Fußball-EM 2016 fünf Wochen in der Villa, in der wir beste Bedingungen zum Arbeiten und Leben vorfanden. Zwei sehr große und sechs kleinere Schlafzimmer, zwei riesige, helle Wohnbereiche in beiden Geschossen mit sehr geschmackvollen und hochwertigen Möbeln, gut ausgestattete Küche und schöne Terrasse mit Gasgrill. Evian ist nur einen kurzen (und steilen) Fußmarsch) entfernt, Golf und Tennis in unmittelbarer Nähe. Nicolas ist zudem ein sehr zuvorkommender Vermieter, der jederzeit umgehend auf alle Fragen antwortet und alle Wünsche erfüllt. Kurz: das Anwesen ist wärmstens zu empfehlen, egal für welchen Anlass.

Worked very well for us as a corporate “off-site”

It was a very much a privilege to stay in “A Pelo Ben”. Everyone was hugely impressed by the design of the house, space and general ambiance. It worked very well for us as an "off-site" location. We had a software "hackathon" on the upper floor, whilst the lower floor was where we discussed strategy and worked on some customer specific projects. Everyone had a lot of space, and I think really appreciated the large living areas and the number of bedrooms which meant that everyone was well accommodated. We hired the Chef for a brunch on Sunday (for employees and their families), and also for a 3-course dinner on Sunday evening. The Chef let us know the pricing beforehand by email and everything was as expected. This worked well, as the portions were so large it kept us going until Tuesday and the cost was also fine, especially given the quantity and quality of food. All in all it went very well, and was certainly very much liked by my colleagues - although our next off site will probably be in San Francisco, we will probably be back for a repeat booking towards the end of next year, and I will also be pleased to post a recommendation on the web forum of EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne) Innovation Park, where we are based. I'm sure you could get quite a lot of interest from companies on this side of the Lake – it’s a hugely convenient and impressive location.

Beautiful family holiday at Evian-Les-Bains

Your home worked out really well for us, we enjoyed Evian very much and the local information you had sent to me was very helpful to us and other friends who were staying at The Hilton Hotel in town. Also the 2 meals that the chef prepared for us were great, he is a very nice man and it was good to have him to help. It has been good dealing with you, if we are back in the area and need a home again, we will be in contact.

Excellent séjour de ski en famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans votre villa; n’avons pas vu la semaine passer. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le côté spacieux de celle-ci : les couchages indépendants les uns des autres, la cuisine fonctionnelle et les salles de vie très confortables. Les skieurs se sont fait plaisir à Bernex et les non skieurs ont apprécié les bords du lac. Nous garderons tous un merveilleux souvenir de cette semaine. Merci beaucoup à vous ainsi qu’à votre agent.

un cadre majestueux et une villa de rêve !

Maison spacieuse et très agréable ! Correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Nous étions 16 personnes. C'était parfait. Trois "coins" couchages bien séparés, trois salons. La région est magnifique et très riche et diversifiée en activités. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Très bonne adresse !

The family roots are in Evian and the house was the original project of a family member interested in modern architecture. We rent the place only to maintain the house - as per the original idea. We love to come back to the Lake Geneva area. In the winter, we enjoy skiing in the alpine resorts nearby (Thollon, Bernex, Avoriaz). In the spring, we practice tennis, golf, swimming and horse riding. Summer is active with a long list of music festivals and celebrations. Fall offers scenic foliage in the Alps and a great time to warm up these cheese fondues.
