Fantastic home with beautiful views 25 minutes from Virginia Tech. Coordination with the host was seemless and the property was extremely clean and well decorated.I really enjoyed the nearby train, which isnt loud, but if that bothers you, the host provided ear plugs in each bedroom.Simply put, it was perfect for our families weekend getaway. I will definitely plan to stay again.

The garden was absolutely beautiful, was so peaceful spending time outside. The home has been tastefully renovated. Thankful for the ear plugs provided by host this helped block out the train and the music from the campsite near by. My son’s favorite part of the trip was getting to see the host’s tractor mowing the field. We will be back!

Most importantly, the house is CLEAN, beds are COMFORTABLE. Well kept house inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had such a relaxing time. Plenty of space outside for outdoor games and for our dog to run around in. We loved the house and will be back whenever we go back to Blacksburg.

We really enjoyed the farmhouse and visited Blacksburg, Cascades and other National Forest hiking areas during our stay. Loved all the trains, too. Note that some windows don’t have screens. We learned the hard way since it was ladybug season!
