St Simons Rentals is proud to present Day Dream Cottage! This fabulous cottage has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, Day Dream is located in the much desired oceanfront community of Coast Cottages on St. Simons Island. Beautifully decorated with sprawling porches and a spectacular rooftop deck boasting great views, Day Dream Cottage is a first class Golden Isle getaway only steps away from the oceanfront Coast Cottage Pools and Pavilion with private access to St. Simons Island's widest stretch of sand. The cottage is approximately 175 yards to the 2 ocean front pools, covered pavilion and beach access.


THE SPACE
The cottage has 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths and sleeps up to 12 guests. There are 3 king size beds and 2 sets of triple bunk beds.
Coast Cottage beach is accessible 24/7 so you never have to worry about the tide. The Coast Cottage neighborhood has a private beach access with boardwalk to the beach.

Bedrooms
The first floor showcases three guest bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.

The main level : Bedroom 1 has a King bed with Smart TV. The en-suite bathroom has his-and-her vanities and walk-in a shower.
Bedroom 2 : King bed and Smart TV. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The bunk room: Two sets of custom made triple bunk beds for the kids, two Big Joe bean bags chairs for lounging or gaming, Smart TV, and an ensuite bath with tub/shower combo. What memories the children will make!

The first level also houses a second den with a sleeper sofa and large HD Smart TV. This is a perfect place for the kids to play games or just relax with a movie after a long day at the beach.

The open living floor plan on the second floor allows guests to enjoy the living space, dining area with seating for 11, and gourmet kitchen with chef's quality Wolf gas range. The living room is a great space to sit back and watch a movie or the game on the large HD Smart TV. The front and back decks are both easily accessible on this level. Turn on the whole house in-ceiling Sonos speakers and enjoy your favorite tunes while you relax!

More about the Primary King Suite: The primary bedroom suite is located on the third floor and is a wonderful escape. This private retreat offers a king bed, a sitting area with a large HD Smart TV and a desk with printer. The primary bathroom features a large soaking tub, his-and-hers vanities, private water closet and a wonderful walk-in shower offering guests a true luxury experience. Your private balcony is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or escape from it all with a good book. The primary suite also has direct access to the roof top deck with wonderful late afternoon and evening breezes and spectacular morning sunrises.

Details of the Heated Community Pool
The Coast Cottages pools can be heated in the cooler/winter months upon request. The fee to heat the pools is $50/day starting 24 hours before the requested heated dates through the end of the last day of requested dates. The Coast Cottages community does heat the pools (at no extra charge to guests) on weekends during cooler months and during the week of Thanksgiving, week of Christmas through New Years Day, the last week of March and first week of April. A 48 Hour Notice to Management is required to heat the pools.

Fun family week at the beach!

We stayed at Daydream Cottage for a week with our 2 adult children, spouses and 7 month old. The layout was terrific for our group! The different levels made napping and TV watching easy. Everything we needed was at the house..there was not one thing we needed that the house didn’t have. The house was so attractive and well done..bedding was excellent! We really enjoyed the terraces. They were nice to hang out on in the evening. We loved the whole area and beach. Kathy, the property manager was superb!

4th of July at Day Dream Cottage

Fun family vacation in a beautiful well appointed beach house at one of our favorite places in Georgia! Overall this house was even better than description in listing! Because of the holiday it was not possible for quick remedies to several kitchen appliances. Refrigerator temperature was at 75 and cooled in 12 hours and Ice maker worked better by day 3 after service. Gas range top did not work during our stay.

The property is generally a nice place. We have stayed a several different places in the Coastal Cottages collection over the past 10 years. . Upon arrival at this one, we notified the Property Manager of rotted parts of the WOODEN spiral staircase leading to the crow's nest. Nothing was done about it during our stay. Within a few days after our departure, the Owner filed a claim on our Travel Insurance that blames us for her years of neglect in maintaining the rotting staircase. Obviously an attempt to have the Insurance subsidize the replacement of the staircase. Additionally, that we somehow caused the kitchen sink to separate from the counter top???

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations! The house is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent, and Lorna the property manager was superb in making sure we had everything we wanted. The house is steps from the beach, and a leisurely walk or short car ride to the village restaurants and shops. The neighbourhood is very quiet. We would recommend this property highly!

Truly lovely beach home in every way possible. The photos of this home don't do it justice -- beautifully decorated and so well stocked. We treasured staying at this adorable and charming coastal home. Thoughtful touches of extra towels and blankets everywhere, books, decor, and small extras that show great attention to detail. Lorna the property manager was first class and a true professional. When the power went out due to storms, she showed up with flashlights and batteries. We love Daydream!!

We just got back from a long weekend at Daydream cottage and it was the best rental we have ever booked! The house is beautifully decorated and was a perfect for for our two families with young children. The house came with everything we could possibly need, especially for kids. We had a great stay at this property. We especially loved all the decks to enjoy the outdoors. Property is well supplied. The area is very nice and close to restaurants and shopping. Lorna is a great property manager. She responds immediately to any request. We actually overlooked an item when packing to leave. She texted us a picture. We were too far away to turn back so she said she’d mail the item to us. Wow! Is all I can say! We’ll look forward to another visit!!

Fantastic Location on St. Simons Island

Our family stayed here April 2021 and we loved it! The beach and pool were minutes away -- biking to the village was a short hop -- and the shops and restaurants were great. We especially enjoyed eating outdoors at Mullet Bay and Barrier Reef Brewery. The only disappointing thing on St Simons was the biking trails -- but we were counting more on a beach vacation so it worked out fine.

We enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed and welcoming property in St. Simon's. The house is very kid and dog-friendly, which definitely fit our group nicely, and I really enjoyed all the artwork and personal touches throughout the house. There was plenty of space including several balconies that provide a nice view of the street and beach, which is right down the street. The neighborhood pool is pretty basic but provided a nice opportunity for kids to be in the water since it was a bit too cold for ocean swimming. We also spent a lot of time biking all over the island, and the house is conveniently located to many parks and restaurants in the area. A few comments...the master bedroom and bath are located on the third level, two floors above the other three bedrooms. While my husband and I would have rather stayed there, we felt uncomfortable being that far away from our young children, so we opted to stay in the third bedroom on the first floor, which is definitely a bit of a step down. Just something that young families should be aware of. The bathrooms down there are incredibly dark, and I needed to go into a different room to apply make up etc. Some of the toilets are outdated and needed to be flushed several times. Also, the kitchen cookware and utensils are sort of disorganized and show signs of wear. Overall though this is a nice, clean vacation house for families, and we were thrilled to find a place that could accommodate our golden retriever.

Big surprise.

Beautiful, place, beach. Great house. Very comfortable everywhere. You feel at home. Terrace at top great place to relax and watch sunsets. Great second level for entertainment, dinners outside. Good food in restaurants close by, and at The Village. Biking paths around. We are used to going to beaches in Florida. But Saint Simon was a delightful surprise for us.
