LOCATION: The Beehive is located just off the Portage Trail & near I-90, on the Lake Erie Wine Trail. Its within walking to restaurants, Parkview Cafe, Brazills, Larry's Wings. Near Portage Pie, Banks, library, park, antiques, grocery, and more. An 11 mile drive to the CHAUTAUQUA INSTITUTION. Located in the WINE REGION, winery's and local brewery's nearby to visit and sample. You can be golfing within 10 minutes, go fishing, go to the beach at BARCELONA BEACH Harbour on Lake Erie, Timmermans' for fresh vegetables, the Saturday Green Market, and enjoy many relaxing outdoor activities. Our family spent eight days in this unit. It looks new, is spacious, is located on a quiet street, and is very comfortable. The owners were very accommodating. We had a great time, including day-trips to Niagara Falls, Presque Isle, and Lake Chautaugua. This was a great place to stay!

Met our needs

We needed a quiet place to relax in the afternoon while we attended meetings about 30 min away. This was the perfect spot. We enjoyed the quaint town of Westfield. All the needed amenities were provided. Was initially concerned that the small AC window units would be insufficient to cool a second floor property but they kept up just fine. We will try to stay here again next time we’re in Western NY!

Simply beautiful

This large, spotless, well-equipped, beautifully-furnished apartment was perfect for our party of four adults, and would easily have accommodated another two people to sleep. Its open floor plan made entertaining ten people for almost an entire day very easy. It is about half a mile from a grocery store, a drug store, and a dollar store; we could have walked to all of these. We could also have walked to Lake Erie, and the city of Erie is an easy drive away. The best thing about the apartment is it’s location in a beautiful woodland clearing. In May, we were able to watch migrating birds without having to leave the apartment’s balcony, but the yard would be beautiful in any season. When we had questions to ask, the owner or one of her assistants replied to us immediately. We have only good things to say about this rental. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

We could not have asked for a better experience, the place was spacious enough for 4 Adults and 2 kids and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet and close to anything we needed. The hosts were easy to communicate with and absolutely accommodating.

This is a perfect place to stay in Westfield. It is close enough to walk to everything needed and very comfortable -- AC, comfortable beds, comfortable furniture, nice TV, lots of space for cooking and eating., washer and dryer. We couldn't have asked for more. The owners were always available for questions and gave quick responses. We'll be back!

We loved staying here. Very clean, has everything you need, well stocked with linens. We changed our number of visitors during our stay and the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. We walked to the coffee shop and downtown arts and craft fair. Great location. Hope to stay again.

Modern Updated 2 Bedroom Unit Close to Lake Erie

We were fortunate to spend 5 weeks in this beautifully updated unit. The owner (GG) is so sweet and accommodating. Unit offers 2 full size closets plus closets in each bedroom. The modern bathroom offers a full size walk in shower which has private pocket door from sink/vanity area. The master bedroom is very large and bed was very comfortable. The second bedroom is quite a bit smaller but does have a twin over full bunk bed which my son said was comfortable to sleep on. The unit is well stocked and the kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and all you need to prepare your meals. The living room is very welcoming and roomy also offering modern furniture a computer desk for work or researching your next adventure. There are 2 huge and very old willow trees in the back yard with a natural spring that runs through it that offers an abundance of wildlife. We saw deer, turkeys, and chipmunks. We heard gray cat birds and other animals in the forest-like setting off to the side. The Bee Hive is just a few blocks to downtown Westfield which has several restaurants, dollar stores, and a Topps Grocery store. Lake Erie is approximately 2 miles away and it is only a short drive to Chautauqua Lake and the Chautauqua Institute. The NY Wine Trail runs right by the Bee Hive Units. We were impressed with GG and all the love and work she has put into making the Bee Hive a Great Place for you and your family.

A++ for GG the owner for her attentiveness and quick responses!!! A++ for the apartment as it is really nice. I came in for the weekend for a family wedding and needed a place for my sister and her family as well as my family - plenty of space for all of us. A lot of the properties that I looked at only had 1 bathroom and for the lot of us it was not going to be good. So glad that I found this place and next time that I am up in the area to visit our family, will definitely try to stay here. Beds were great, rooms are nice sizes, living space is spacious. Oh and did I say CLEAN - almost forgot that key little item. If you are looking in the area, put this one at the top of your list. :)

New, spacious, nicely decorated apartment. Very comfortable tranquil setting and centrally located to Chautauqua Lake/Institution & Lake Erie. Walking distance to town of Westfield; groceries, restaurants, antique & crafty shops. Great to bike through neighborhoods and past many wineries close by. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again. GG (owner) was welcoming and very accommodating.

Cozy Modern Apartment in Beautiful Historic Town

This rental is in a great location! Close to excellent local restaurants and attractions (including a beautiful creek right across the street!). The apartment was really comfortable and just as described. Recently renovated and spacious with a nice back porch. The owner was also very accommodating and responded to e-mails quickly. I definitely plan on staying here again next time I'm in Westfield!

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because we like touring the Chautauqua area, the vineyards, the golf and hiking, fishing and just love Westfield. We go to the Chautauqua Institute often but, since we're off-site only pay for the events we want to attend. The house and yard are a serene retreat and we love that we can walk to several good restaurants, where they know your name, and serve fabulous meals. Its convenient to other services and route 90, and about an hour from the Buffalo airport, and 35 minutes from Erie.

What makes this property unique

We can walk or drive in minutes to everything. Westfield is a quaint little town, unfettered by modern "buzz", yet it has all the necessities for your comfort.
