This is a cute little house located in a beautiful spot! It is close to Lake Harbor Park, which has climbing dune access and a walking path down to the beach. The home was mostly neat, however, immediately upon our arrival, there was a strong smell of natural gas. I contacted the owner immediately, and they told me others had smelled it, some had not, but that it was not an issue. However, anytime we would keep the windows closed, the smell was very strong. Therefore, we left the windows open the whole time. Further, the washing machine did not work. I also contacted the owner about that. She told me it was finicky and to keep trying. However, we never could run a successful load, which is a bit disappointing when your clothes are wet and sandy from the beach… And there were no clean bath towels. It also made me wonder how clean everything was that had been previously washed. At first, the owner was responsive quickly, but then seemed to not care about our issues, and literally just stopped communicating. That part was stressful, but if they can fix the natural gas smell and the washing machine, this is a great place to stay, and I would definitely recommend!
