Escape to a brilliant cabin retreat in Melrose. This 4-bedroom cabin offers a mix of fantastic sleeping arrangements, including a king bed, queen beds, bunk bed, and full bed. With WiFi, a washing machine, AC, and heating, guests can relax comfortably. The 2 bathrooms feature refreshing showers. Enjoy a perfect getaway surrounded by nature. We look forward to hosting you at our place.

Perfect for families wanting to be at the lake but love the option to be totally surrounded by nature and no humans within a quarter mile. Beautiful views of the lake and sunset from the cabin that overlooks the lake.

*This property is luxurious and available all year round, but REQUIRES 4WD/AWD to access the cabin in the winter via gravel snow packed roads.

**There is a hot tub on property for private use, but is NOT available for guest use for short-term stays per county ordinance.

***Wood burning stove depicted in the home is entirely decorative and not for use. Exterior fire pit is available for all seasons.

Note, lakeshore is on property but approximately 75 steps down through the woods on a nice hike through nature!

This cabin is great! We loved our weekend tucked away in the snowy woods. It was the perfect cozy log cabin getaway. Our family of six had plenty of space and everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. The cabin is even more beautiful and spacious than the photos can show. Highly recommend!

Every year my two brothers, my sister and I along with our spouses get together for a few days. We’ve stayed at various places around Minnesota and we all agreed that this log cabin was by far the best. We all loved our stay! The cabin is beautiful, the location and view are great. Tom our host was available to help us with whatever we might need. Definitely a 5 star stay!

This cozy cabin was an amazing stay for my friends/family and I. The lake view was amazing during sunset on the balcony. We had a blast in the cabin and also out on the lake! Tom is a superb host! He was very responsive and accommodating. We forgot some things but he had all the appliances we needed to make it work. I will definitely be booking with him again!

We had a fantastic stay for our family of seven adults at this beautiful log home! Communication was excellent throughout, and the house was a clean, comfortable, welcoming space. The extra touches like an abundance of soft towels, kitchen essentials, ice maker, and a beverage fridge made everything so convenient. Outdoor amenities were top-notch too, with plenty of firewood and comfy seating. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The lake was peaceful and clean—perfect if you have access to a boat (we loved our pontoon from a local rental!). Just keep in mind that the steps down to the lake are quite a workout, especially for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns. Highly recommend!
