VILLAGE PARADISE!! Enjoy Island living at its best. You can’t beat the location, but the house is what is most enchanting. This stunning home is quietly tucked away in the quaint neighborhood of Village Oaks, but it’s still close enough to all of St. Simon’s favorite spots. Only five minutes to the beach. A short walk to the pier, shopping, and some of the Island's best local restaurants.
This beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath custom built home with upscale furnishings was professionally decorated by local designer Laurie Watson with MB Peter Designs. It has quality that can be seen at every turn.
The primary bedroom with beamed ceilings is on the lower level, and the other three bedrooms and an entertainment loft with a pull-out sofa is upstairs. There is a small home office and a large laundry room on the main floor.
Some of the custom features include gorgeous heart pine floors throughout, custom cabinets, tiled showers, double French doors in the primary bedroom which open to the covered front porch, quartz countertops, shiplap walls, built-in seating, wet bar with wine cooler, gourmet kitchen featuring SubZero, Wolf, and Bosch appliances, crown molding, and so much more!
Each bedroom has its own unique character that can only be appreciated in person. Details include wood plank ceilings, coffered walls and craftsman wood detail, which gives each room its own special vibe. There is a nice open floor plan with an abundance of natural light in the main room that is large enough for entertaining, reading some of the many books kept in the house, or working jigsaw puzzles provided for your use ... yet it’s cozy enough for movie night with the family in front of the decorative fireplace. Smart Tvs are in the family room, primary bedroom, and upstairs loft area.
A private outdoor shower is located behind the house. The beautiful outdoor brick fireplace features one of the island’s famous spirit guide carvings, and this area is perfect for beginning your day with a morning cup of coffee or ending a long day on the beach by relaxing and roasting s’mores.
Don’t worry if the night sky is overcast and you can’t see the moon or stars, just look upward from the outdoor fireplace seating area at night, and you can spy the moonlight-inspired outdoor light placed high above the fireplace and hidden in the overhanging live oak tree.
