This is my second stay here and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The place has everything we needed and the sunset in the deck was absolutely beautiful Saturday night. Highly recommend this place

Our stay on the bay was fantastic. We loved having coffee overlooking the water in the morning and swimming in the warm waters in the afternoon (might want to bring water shoes if you don’t like stepping on grasses on the bottom). The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The outside could use a little TLC, but didn’t affect our enjoyment of the property. Overall we would be happy to stay here again!

Lovely view in this well appointed apartment. I would say though that it is on a busy road. We found nice places to walk our dog near by. Coffee on the deck was nice in the am.

The house was lovely, views of the lake were amazing! It was equipped with all of your basic needs to cook and eat-in. We enjoyed the sunrise, sunset and watching the sailboats in Mallettes bay. Downtown Burlington is a short drive away and Colchester had a lot of outdoor trails and parks to explore as well. We’ll be back!

Loved the area but not the house. It had a beautiful view but that's all it had going for it. There were no teaspoons, napkins, tissues or products to wrap food. Luckily had our meals at another VRBO nearby rented by our daughter. Never stayed anywhere that didn't have at least one box of tissues. The lighting in the kitchen was not good. There was a burnt out bulb under the cabinets. The outside patio was filthy, spider webs everywhere, dirty patio furniture.

We enjoyed our stay overall and felt it was a good value for a lakefront property. The location is excellent, with beautiful lake views and an easy walk to a great spot to watch the sunset. Erin was an outstanding host—when we had an air conditioning issue during a Vermont heat wave, she responded immediately and had someone there to fix it, which we really appreciated.The cottage itself could benefit from some attention to detail. There were cobwebs along the baseboards, some linens felt like they had been stored for a while, and the deck and outdoor areas could use a good cleaning and a little landscaping. A few inexpensive updates, such as the bathroom fan and general upkeep, would go a long way. The price reflects the current condition, but with some minor improvements, this could easily be a five-star stay.
