Great decor. Comfortable beds. Bathroom and kitchen could use a little sprucing up. Location was great and got see a wonderful sunset from the causeway.
I enjoyed my stay and it was really nice place to relax and enjoy nature, though there was no internet that may be one inconvenience as the mobile service isn't strong in the area
It is a very lovely place and carefully maintain, Highly Recommend it!
The location is perfect. The house had all the necessary essentials. Good size.Use of the owners kayaks are a blessing … we biked the Causway from right outside our door to Burlington! Great for the price! I have stayed on Lake Champlain several times. Love it
Well equiped house in a very quiet environment. It is not the most modern house in the life but it was ok. The only negative comment we have is that we were annoyed by the droplets falling from the roof on the air conditionner outside the bedroom (please do something) all night long (it rained a little in the evening). Otherwise it was perfect.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The location was great. Beautiful lake views, access to the causeway, easy drive to Burlington. It was very quiet. We also had no trouble getting an Uber to and from downtown Burlington one night, even though it's a private and pretty remote area. The host was fantastic - very prompt with all communications and went above and beyond to provide helpful information during my stay.I do think people should know what they are getting - this is an old lakeside cottage. I wasn't expecting a fancy hotel so it was okay that the bathroom was small and outdated - but you can't access the bathroom without entering the second bedroom. I understand that the house is meant to be good for a couple, but if you were intentionally filtering your search for 2 bedrooms because you want that level of separation and privacy for your party, this might not meet your needs. There was also an overpowering musty smell in the house that was unfortunately pretty off-putting and stayed strong throughout our entire stay.Besides the bathroom setup and the smell, our stay was fine in the end but we might not stay again for those reasons. I do want to reiterate how great the location and host were, though. For the right people, this will be a suitable spot for a lovely Vermont getaway.
We didn't stay. Upon entering the property, we noticed a lot of dead spiders and cobwebs. Since there is no central air, we opened the windows and found mold and moss in them, and some of the window screens had holes that would allow mosquitoes. The bathroom had spiderwebs, and the shower was not very clean.
I spent three nights here because of the proximity to the bike path and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a cute summer getaway neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, AC worked great, relaxing sun room when the weather cooled, bonus that there was a guitar.Burlington is half hour bike ride south down the path, and heading north takes you to the bike ferry to the island, which is how I spent one day. It’s an old summer cottage so once you adjust your expectations, it’s great. There was no smoke smell or anything like that like someone reviewed. Definitely recommend this place.
Unique and eclectic property that the owner has clearly put a lot of thought into and located in a great place. Unfortunately, despite it being listed as non-smoking clearly past occupants had used it for this and the unit smelled, smoke odor permeated everything.
This is a wonderful location near the Causeway and access to the lake while very quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and ready for use. The smaller bedroom has an awkward access to the bathroom limiting privacy. Great for a couple.
The location is excellent, especially if you are biking in the area.
For 2 people the house size is perfect. The decor is a bit eclectic. The owner was very responsive.
The cottage was perfect for our bike trip, the trail was accessible from the cottage.
The decor inside the cottage was awesome and we enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Not as advertised
Let me start by saying that this cabin is perfectly fine and a very good price. The location is very convenient to the bike trail, although the path to the lake & kayaks is pretty treacherous. They do not charge a “cleaning fee”, so I can forgive the dead bugs in all the windows and the overgrown garden.
My major issues with this listing are the inaccuracies.
Most importantly, this is NOT a true 2 bedroom. The second bedroom is actually a den with the only access to the only bathroom. They put glass doors (no curtain) on the entry and called it a bedroom. This meant that the “bedroom” had ZERO privacy. For some groups, this would work. It did not work for us.
Other mis-advertised Amenities:
Washer – actually a laundromat 7 minutes away
AC – only in the primary bedroom.
Deck/patio – just a fire pit in the grass
The owner seems nice ,but theCabin was in need of cleaning there were dust bunnies in most of the corners . The bathroom smelled of urine ,Not unbearable but noticeable. The location is EXCELLENT !
Running away from the heat in CT. Was a very nice getaway..Area was very quiet, Easy to find. would recommend. Would do away with slippery bathroom rug.
