We loved this house-- plenty of space for two families to be comfortable, and the proximity to town is perfect. The property manager is excellent, as well-- very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Rest assured you are in great hands and will have wonderful accommodations if you stay here!

Love this place and the new bedding is amazing! Only complaint is the basement smells like maybe a dead mouse or something and is always a little musty. Your listing only lists 4 twins and you have 5 FYI. We paid more this time then we usually do and it looks like next year it's cheaper again. Will definitely be back!

This home is absolutely beautiful and is exactly as shown. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond for us during our stay. We stayed during the Gold Mountain Fire and they made sure we were well informed and even came to the house to let us know what was going on and that we were 100 percent safe. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

First, it was expected for us to know that the keypad was an easy use item. We had never seen that type of electronic keypad before. Explanation would have been very helpful. With the keypad, we opened it and there were no keys in it. This was at 9:00pm so dark. Next morning found the keys on the deck. Next, it seemed that the pots and pans seemed a little bit to be desired. All were very large. No extra kitchen hand towels or dish towels and wash cloths. Otherwise everything else was great.

What an awesome place for our hiking group of 8 ladies! The house was exactly as described. I am not sure if it was in the listing but one of the basement rooms actually had 3 twins instead of 2, which helped with our numbers. Only a 5 minute drive to town. The beds were extremely comfortable. The large dining room table was great for our nightly games. An amazing mountain view from the living room picture window and the back porch. Outdoor seating for 8 was available on the patio, which we took full advantage of. Parking in back for 3 cars, as well as a 2 car garage. We had a few requests for the host and received an immediate response. Communication was excellent. Very pleased with the house and would definitely stay here again. Sounds really silly but the toilet paper was high quality and there were several boxes of tissues throughout the house. Greatly appreciated.

The owners were amazing. We were there for Christmas and they brought us a tree and decorations. The house was super clean all the supplies we needed in the kitchen. We stayed a week and had plenty of everything. We’ll definitely be back. And very close to the Hot Springs.

Jeep Trip

House was spacious and plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds comfortable. Close to Ouray and great mountain view. Deer in yard every morning which was enjoyable to watch.

Mountain Stay in July 2025

The location is close to town, easy to find & in a quiet neighborhood. The washer and dryer is a huge plus with outdoor activities. Living area is roomy & the beds are comfy. Patio is a nice setting with room for 8 to eat; the inside dining room table is big also. Normally, for a VRBO stay, guests are to bring TP, paper towels, trash bags, etc. But, this house had all that-the bathrooms even had soap & shampoo. Many, fans, which is great because July is hot. I’ve never understood why CO homes aren’t built with a/c for the heat of the summer; they know it is hot because they supply so many fans. Due to the heat, doors & windows are wide open & house has plenty of each. Unfortunately, the Wastewater Treatment Plant is right there, so some days had a pretty ripe smell. When we arrived, the refrigerator’s temp had been turned up, so it took until the next day to be able to move food into it. You need to buy ice-even though the frig has ice/water in the door, it isn’t hooked up. The stove needs a look, as the oven set at 415 for an hour left potatoes still hard. We got the thermometer that we use for checking tires on the road (was already in the house b/c of the frig)-the hottest part only hit 316. We moved the potatoes to the grill but the tank was not hooked up; we realized why-it was empty. We found a place with propane, which was pretty expensive. One last concern, the smoke alarm in the basement was sitting disassembled; with the wildfires, this situation needs addressed.

The property was spacious, in a beautiful location, and worked well for our large group. The management team was responsive whenever we reported an issue, and we appreciated their communication and willingness to reimburse expenses and provide compensation for problems that arose during our stay.During warmer weather, the property provided fans, but the upstairs remained quite warm. None of the exterior doors had screens, including multiple balcony doors, which made it difficult to open them due to bugs and limited our ability to increase airflow. We also experienced several maintenance issues, including a water leak, problems with the dishwasher, a non-functioning refrigerator water/ice dispenser, and propane supply.While we appreciated management’s efforts to address and correct our concerns, the number of maintenance issues made the experience fall short of what we expected for a rental at this price point. We hope these items are resolved for future guests.
