The house was beautiful! Very clean and Plenty of beds if you have a big group. We had a small group. We’ve stayed at many Lakehouses and this house has everything you need! All the extras you will find here! It was our first time staying at this location and we will definitely be back!

Here for a wedding

Loved, loved the house. Great place to enjoy the lake and the area. However, I was shocked by the hidden fees charged by VRBO.

Peaceful retreat on the lake

We booked this stay while we were in town for my son's college rodeo. The house was very comfortable. The lake view was amazing. It was cold and stormy so we didnt get to use the outdoor fire pit. Check in and check out was super easy. Had a minor issue with smoke detector going off but a quick text to the host and she sent a handyman to take care of the problem. If we come back to Athens we would stay here again.

The place had a great layout and plenty of parking. Check in and entry was easy. Communicating with management was easy. They were accommodating to our needs which we appreciated greatly. We really enjoyed our time there. It fit our needs. The only thing that may need some improvement is dusting by their cleaning crew. There was dust on all the decorative pieces and cobwebs on the ceiling. The thermostat kept reverting back to the default away temperature, so the house would start getting hot even during the night. And it would really be nice if the living room windows had curtains or shades, because the morning sun blarred through the windows and made it hard to enjoy sitting in the living room. These are nit picky things, but the house really was great and enjoyable to stay in. We especially enjiyed the corn hole boards to play in the backyard.

Awesome House on Cedar Creek Lake

Rented the house for our annual summer family vacation. Location: south side of lake, somewhat private cove with few neighbors, excellent boat accommodations (we brought our ski boat and left attached to private house dock the entire week), excellent fishing off the dock, Dollar Store just down the road for those quick needs House: excellent layout with a total of 4 bedrooms. Kids loved the playroom that was located on the front side of the house away from everyone else. If they woke up early or stayed up late, we could not hear them (excellent layout). House is very open and inviting Excellent accommodations and we look forward to booking this house again and again. Thank you for opening up your house to all!

A Beautiful Location that needs some TLC

We greatly enjoyed our week. The house had plenty of space for our group (4 adults, 3 children) with room to spare. The kitchen was adequately equipped for us to prepare our Thanksgiving Day meal. The group enjoyed the back porch, particularly in the evenings. We made good use of the fire pit several chilly nights and smores were enjoyed by all! The game room was an added bonus and the kids enjoyed it immensely. That’s the good. There just isn’t any other way to describe it: the house was dirty. Decor was heavily dusty, the first cup I grabbed out of the cabinet had a soda can tab stuck inside the bottom of it. Every dish/pot/pan we used needed a good scrubbing before it was put into action. In addition the non-stick cookware had outlived its functional lifespan with the coating coming off on every one. When we first arrived we thought it was our shoes making the sticking sound as we walked through the kitchen but soon found out the floor itself was sticky to the touch. The main living area appeared to be equipped with an Amazon fire stick but it wasn’t functional and we had to contact the host to get someone out and get the cable working. The host was responsive and took care of it, and it was only a minor inconvenience. We ended up having a later arriving family member bring a personal Roku device for us to use while there. Again, we had a great time. Just wanted to be upfront about our experience. There is massive potential for this location.

Glad the kids enjoyed the game room.We apologize for the issues you found, we communicated several times and you didn't mention the cleanliness issues we would have been happy to come back if needed to rectify the issues. We use Pine-sol to mop the floors to ensure they are clean. We have done a deep clean and dusted all of the decor, we were unaware there were any dirty dishes. We have ordered new pots and pans, plates, cups, bowls and silverware. We have also purchased a new smart TV with ROKU.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Peaceful Lake Stay

This house is a great location that is tucked away on a cove of the lake. We had a relaxing and fun stay with family, the game room with pool/ping pong table and toys for the littles was a big hit. All 10 of us comfortably fit and everything was as listed. The propane was out on the gas grill but we were able to improvise. The dock was awesome to fish off of and we spent both nights relaxing on the upper deck. There is a boat launch about 10 minutes away if you bring a boat. Overall, a very nice stay.

Great cove location

The house had tons of space for our family and all of the essentials - well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, games and toys for the kids. Gigi provided great restaurant and activity recommendations and was very responsive, even putting us in touch with the housekeeper to get an early check-in. Loved the location on a quiet cove with minimal noise and waves. A couple of "helpful to know" items: - The house has internet, but it is crushingly slow. We could not run any streaming apps. - You can tie up to the boat dock with your own boat, but the lake levels are currently so low that it's difficult to navigate getting in and out of the boat.

We had a great time

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were adequate space to fit it a group of 13 people. The house was clean. The pantry was stocked with pots, pans and all the other necessary items. The bathrooms were clean and stocked as well. The boat house was perfect for our fishing activity. One of our friend end up catching a big carp. Only one issue was that internet speed was not that great. So we couldn't run apps like youtube or netflix. Overall it was a nice staying experience. I'd definitely recommend others to give it a try.

Great location

The house is perfect. Very spacious and very clean. It’s also located in a great spot inside a nice sized cove that was very quiet and had very little traffic. There are tons of amenities both on the property as well as close by. The weather was very hot so I would love to stay at this place in the fall and experience it in a different, cooler season. Definitely worth the money which was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this property for a beautiful and relaxing vacation getaway.

We love this lake house and have visited often. Love the silence and tranquility, the house is clean and well-maintained. Host was phenomenal. Great sundeck!! We enjoyed the views from the rocking chairs on the back porch and hanging out at the fire pit. We will continue to return to this lovely home.

Perfect Location

This property is set up on the perfect location of Cedar Creek lake. Communication with Gigi was easy and quick. The set up of the home was spacious and well equipped. Docking my boat was convenient to be onsite and Gigi gave us good directions to the nearby public boat ramp. Due to the narrowness of the side of the dock which had the cleats, it may be difficult for older folks to get on/off a boat if you moor your boat there. The refrigerator is rather loud but not located near any bedrooms. The laundry light works but you must turn on a switch near the kitchen (figured out this one on the last day after using our flashlight to do laundry, lol!!)...just fyi! I would return but would suggest a deep clean in the off season.
