The perfect location for a romantic and local experience while exploring the east side of the island!

A truly Puerto Rican "Boricua" experience! Now complete with a hot tub...Wake up in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee from the roof top terrace. Pick a coconut or Star fruit right from the yard. Spend the day discovering a rainforest hike, or sunbathing on the some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. End your day cooking your favorite steak on the grill while watching the sun set over el Yunque.

We are located on the border of el yunque rainforest. Colinas de Luquillo is a stunning setting in the hills of Luquillo. It is a 9 unit apartment building with a beautiful 3rd floor guest terrace. From our Roof-top terrace you can enjoy striking views of El Yunque and the Ocean. The property has all the rainforest vibes. We have mango, plantain, banana, pana, and star fruit trees. Chickens and wild horses regularly visit the property. The ocean views are stunning! Here you can experience the many sides of Puerto Rico Culture with a short drive to everything!

5 minutes DRIVE to playa Azul and Luquillo Beach, Zipline, downtown Luquillo, casinos, and local Kioskos. Experience the unique Bio Bay and the Ceiba/Vieques ferry

It was a lovely place, clean and comfortable. We had some issues with the stove but the owner got it taken care of. The fans only had one setting - high - but it was great value for the money. The fruit trees around the property were nice and we had a coconut fresh off the tree!

Very nice, and had everything you need.

Overall the stay was awesome, the room had a great bathroom, and a great bedroom. Kitchen was great since it has some pots and pans with silverware and plates. Refrigerator has more than enough room to hold food.

Good interior

We were given a ground level unit so we didn’t have the nice views in the pictures. The host made some effort to decorate the interior which made it pleasant and nice. The sheets and towels were clean. The bed feels like an air mattress. Generous amount of toilet paper, hand and dish soap was available (a roll of paper towel would have been appreciated). There’s no dishwasher. The most of the rooftop (which was our main motivation to book the place based on the pictures) is reserved for the units on the third floor and only a small part on the backside is shared. The location is great if you’re targeting the northwest area of the island. There is a one-hour drive to San Juan and the airport. The backdoor is not sealed so expect some small visitors from time to time, but that’s expected for a building in the middle of a rainforest. The host is super rapid at responding.
