Beautiful Location in Luquilla

My first time visiting Puerto Rico and I absolutely loved it! The owner was so nice and helpful! Rafael even arranged for Diana to come to the condo and give me the best massage I've had in a long time! If you're going to stay in Luquilla, I highly recommend staying here!

Staying in Rios’ apartment was an incredible experience we will cherish forever! My daughter and I stayed there for a week. It was clean and Rios and the security guards were all friendly and very helpful. Nothing will beat the view from his beautiful apartment.

Little piece of paradise in Luquillo

The property is nice and secure. The view cant be beat. Rafael is great at communicating, stays in touch throughout the trip and gives good suggestions. Having a laundry room available was quite convenient. The private piece of beach outside of the condominium is lovely! The kids are already asking to come back again.

Great View!

Apartment was clean and well maintained. To get to the beach at the apartment. We rented a car for little money which gave us the chance to drive to the Cieba Ferry and go to Vieques 1 day and Culebra the next and visit other beaches around. Our vacation was in November, snorkeling was out of the question because the waves were big and stirring the ocean floor.

Diamond in the rough

Puerto Rico has been through a lot after the hurricane at the island. As things continue to rebuild, our room was such a wonderful retreat as it was recently updated, and a perfect place to stay. Our visit was fabulous as the place was clean, convenient and the owners very attentive. We will definitely come back and stay with them again! And as you can see from the photos, the views don’t suck either. ;)

Extremely Accommodating

This very well appointed condo allowed my son, brother, and I to engage in the cultural of Puerto Rico. Condo is very safe and there are great restaurants in walking distance. It's central to the rainforest, a host of beaches, and the ferry terminal to the smaller islands. The owner sent two text messages to see if anything was needed. Rafael was such a great host! The condo has everything you will need... all the great reviews are true. This is a great choice of lodging. JMS

Great Luquillo beach getaway!!

Rafael is an excellent and gracious host! The apartment is clean and the view of the beach is spectacular! So much to do in the area and we had the opportunity to take ferry to both Culebra and Vieques Islands. Gorgeous beaches! Just keep in mind the building is in an impoverished area. I had no problem with that but maybe not for everyone. 24/7 security so safety is not a problem. Pool is not in service yet.

Like I said. View is unbeatable. The apartment was super clean and nice set up. Getting into this place took me a little off guard. It's a guarded gate which is great. Place is very quiet. Felt like we were alone minus a few that maybe live year round. The bars on the doors caught us off guard and the barb wire around the exterior. The beach sand is amazing but u can't swim it they say. But again, the view and sleeping with doors open and listening to the waves all night is astounding.

Little piece of paradise

My husband and I spent 10 days in this adorable apartment at the end of august. Loved it!!!! Very clean and has everything you need. The view is incredible! We spent time in the evenings relaxing on the balcony, listening to waves crash. It was so peaceful. The beach in front of the apartment was never busy the entire time we were there. It almost felt like we were on a private island lined with coconut trees and other tropical plants. There are so many things to do in the area and lots of good food. Definitely somewhere we would recommend! How could I forget to mention how kind and thoughtful Mr. Rios is. He made sure we arrived okay and would check in from time to time to let us know he was available if we needed anything. So very sweet!

A View to Behold!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Rafael's condo. The location is excellent...... the view is spectacular, it is adjacent to the Northeast Ecological Corridor and only a 15 minute drive to the El Yunque rainforest for those interested in bird/wildlife watching, close to some excellent restaurants and bars, about a 25-30 minute drive to the Vieques Island ferry and 35-40 minutes to Old San Juan. The condo was very clean, well-kept and quiet. Everything, including air conditioning, etc. worked perfectly and security was good. Rafael kept in close contact with us as our departure approached and after our arrival in San Juan and was very helpful along the way. The location was easy to find but we did have difficulty with the directions to the reserved spot for this property in the parking deck, a very confusing place to us but then that is typical of many parking decks. We would stay here again and would recommend this property to others visiting, thanks Rafael!

Nice unit -great views

Overall this was a great vacation. The individual condo unit was just as pictures show! I liked overall location of condo on the island bc it was close driving distance to good beaches, rainforest and the marina. It was 30 minutes from airport and about 40 minutes to old San Juan. It was cute unit and had great views. It’s a little smaller than we expected but still good. Bed was comfortable but we never had hot water for showers and the unit could use a few newer cooking skillets. The condo building itself was not that great and probably why there is no photos of actual condo building. Condo building looks run down in appearance. We were hesitant to use elevator as it wasn’t always working properly. They did fix it when it stopped working but another time we climbed 9 flights of steps. The condo owner was great at checking in with us daily and answering any questions. So, that was very helpful and appreciated. The beach/ocean the condo unit is on is very pretty. However, it is red flag ocean so not a place to hang out for the day if you want to swim. It’s good for experienced surfers but you need to drive 10 minutes down to go to luquillo beach for calmer waters to swim in safely. We used the condo unit more as a “home base”. We packed up for the day and went to different beaches, boat tours, rainforest etc. out to eat then came back to condo and watched a movie in evening The condo did have chairs, umbrella and cooler to pack for beach that was nice.

Excellent place to stay

This place is cute and was very clean when we checked in. It looks just as it does in the photos. It's well located with multiple restaurants and some shops being just a short walk away. The balcony is equipped with multiple comfortable pieces to sit on or lay in and simply relax. The instructions regarding the lock box with the keys to the apartment aren't clear. However, the owner is SUPER responsive and always replied within minutes of me reaching out. They even went so far as to retrieve a couple items I left behind and ship them back to me. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and this space. We hope to return and highly recommend.
