We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! It was plenty of space to accommodate our group and was very well stocked with everything we needed. Easy and quick access to the beach was so nice. We will definitely be back and would recommend for anyone traveling with a large group!

I wish I were more technologically savvy so that I could have operated the tvs. Probably just a "me" thing. The house is beautiful and absolutely completed stocked with whatever you might need. I would absolutely recommend this property to a large group!

The hot tub was an issue, a 15 minute timer which is the only way to heat it is a problem and must be addressed.Had two toilets than ran continuously.The GFI outlets in the Kitchen tripped when two toasters were running at once.Overall house was great, clean and we loved the location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Anchor of the Soul was the perfect place for our large family vacation. Even though it is a spacious vacation home, it was perfect for our family. We had seven families, mom and dad, their six children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren and spouses, fiancees, partners/friends and 7 great grandchildren and yet the house made us become even closer.The amenities were adequate for both young and old. There were plenty of pots and pans for cooking, games for kids of all ages, ample chairs for the beach, elevator for the elderly and it also helped with bringing in groceries from the lower level, the pool and hot tub, and bar area were a dream come true. We also enjoyed the ice machine, pop coolers and adequate refrigerator space. What a blessing it was to not have to run to the store for bags of ice.To top it off we had a beautiful view of the beach and ocean!!!!! Nothing beats a South Carolina sunrise in the morning or a hand in hand walk on the beach!!The Mog family consisting of 35 adults and 7 great grandchildren had a vacation they will never ever forget!!! MEMORIES WERE DEFINITELY MADE THAT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!!!!The Mog Family

Our stay was wonderful, the location perfect, the facilities were beautiful, well laid out, and the host very accomodating. The few problem that arose,(a running toilet, a non functioning washing machine, and a broken hose timer), were taken care of promptly. The maintainence crew were friendly, polite, and efficient. The only dissapointment was that the fireplace was non-functioning, and that we were not notified that itdidn't work. We will definetly stay there again!

The house was nice. The photos made the house look nicer. The outdoor area by the pool wasn’t clean. My bathroom smelled like urine. The furniture in the common areas was dirty and worn. The messages throughout the house were a great touch. We enjoyed them.

Amazing Vacation Rental fit for a crowd

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This well kept home is awesome, and I say home instead of house because that is how it feels. You can tell the owners use the house as well. It is very well stocked. More than enough dishes, plenty of kitchen items including 3 crock pots, 2 waffle irons, tons of large stock pots, a Keurig coffee maker as well as 2 with cone shaped filters. The beds were comfortable and most of the bedrooms quiet. There is plenty of refrigeration space for food and drinks! There is also an industrial ice maker that kept up with us (we use a lot!). The small refrigerator outside by pool was a great convenience. The pool has a big shallow end that was great for our several 1 year olds and little kids. It says 8 parking spaces but we had 12 cars and had plenty of room.

While “rentals” always experience hard use, and break-downs (like those we experienced), and can reasonably be expected, the staff at BASKAWAY is “EXCEPTIONALY” attentive and responsive to concerns. They are as accommodating as anyone can expect. Many rental realtors “pretend” to care, then barely respond to concerns.In sharp contrast; BASKAWAY staff and representatives TRULY care, My family and I love the property “and” ESPECIALLY working with BASKAWAY. We would love to make this property our annual vacation location in perpetuity, however we fear that the high “COST” of rental may handicap our desire. We’ll see....

We had an amazing stay at Anchor of the Soul! The house is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our work retreat of 20 people. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out comfortably.Everything about the property exceeded our expectations, from the easy beach access to the pool, hot tub, and especially the two kitchens, which made hosting a large group so convenient. The home was spotless, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and gathering together.We also got a fun surprise when we realized this was the house where Gronk stayed while filming the Ice Shaker Beach Games!We truly can’t say enough great things about this property and our experience. We had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back next year!
