Very comfortable, well-appointed home away from home. I wish I had at least two more nights there on this trip. It will be on my stay-here-again list. The neighborhood roads were perfect for walking my dog, who is not suitable for taking on narrow trails. I felt like we could have stayed there two weeks and hit a different route every time.Any questions I had were answered promptly enough for my needs -usually within 30 minutes (although nothing was so urgent that I timed it, so that's a guess).Having the EV charger available was great! I really appreciated not having to factor in battery use when I explored further inland on SR 119 and NFD-24.The hot tub is large enough for those who stay here with a full cabin. For just myself, I left the cover over half of it, it was that large.

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing time away from home. The house is easy to find, but still feels relatively private. The host is extremely responsive and friendly! The house is beautifully decorated in PNW and native motifs, and has a perfect mix of modern and cozy furniture and amenities. The main bedroom is huge, and the primary bathroom is massive, well-lit, very clean, and the huge shower is modern and luxurious. The king bed is very comfortable with new pillows and hotel-quality bedding. The hosts have thought of everything, with every basic amenity you can need. The couch is comfortable for curling up and watching a movie, and the gas furnace heats up the space in a jiffy. The kitchen is beautiful, updated, and the drawers and cupboards are clearly labeled with everything in it's place. Don't miss out on the hot tub! It's definitely a perk! The house is dog friendly, which made a huge difference for us (we love to bring our pup with us). They supply dog bowls, beds, and poop bags - but otherwise, there are no signs that other pets have been there (very clean and well-kept). There's a great grocery store in Hoodsport, with everything you need to eat. Just 10 minutes away. It was rainy and cool during our short stay, but there are endless opportunities for hiking, kayaking, fishing, and other outdoor activities in the area. The hosts supply a parking pass for nearby parks, which is yet another thoughtful touch.
