This home was perfect for our clan and friends. The layout is great with plenty of space for kids and adults and pups to all coexist peacefully.Very close to all the resort amenities, and a very responsive and helpful host.
We had such a great stay in all ways!! The house was perfect for our entire family of 8 adults and 3 kids. Lots of basic supplies were stocked, the beds were amazingly comfortable, the drive and deck were cleaned after we got snow, the hot tub was super, the fire pit was fun for an evening on the deck roasting smores and the provided baby high chair was so helpful. Communication was useful, quick and supportive. We had a short drive to the slopes, but it wasn’t bad even in the snow thanks to the road crews.
My family and I enjoyed our recent stay. The property is spacious with comfortable beds and furniture. The hot tub was a nice feature and we relaxed by the upstairs fire pit table too. The host was very easy to communicate with. Something to note though, is that there is construction right next door. There was minimal noise from this, but nothing too noticeable. I would definitely stay here again as it was a peaceful location with the ski resort.
This house has a great setup for families traveling with older kids. The double living room allowed our kids their own space. Multiple bedrooms upstairs and down also allowed for families to get some privacy and space. The house was extremely clean upon arrival. My only recommendation would be in regards to stocking. As a family that eats mostly at home while traveling, some additional baking sheets, mixing bowls and tupperware would have been great but all of the essentials were there. The owners even had coffee ready to go- a must when waking early to hike all day. Close to Luray Caverns (40min) and and entrance to Shenandoah National Park, (24min) this was a great central location. Even though the private owner does not provide passes to the community center, we were still able to get access to all the amenities for just 15 per person. Our kids enjoyed a day of swimming, volleyball, ping pong and more. There are tons of trails, playgrounds, and activities right on property providing entertainment on “down days”. Checkout was easy and I loved not having to strip the beds. Highly recommend this stay!

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We’re so glad the home worked well for your family and that you enjoyed the layout, location, and all the nearby activities. We appreciate your suggestions on the kitchen items—great feedback, and we’ll definitely keep it in mind. Hope to host you again soon!
This place was lovely for our annual extended family get together. Everyone had a comfortable bed and plenty of space in their rooms to spread out. Great “teen” space downstairs while the adults and younger kids were upstairs. Pinank was so quick to respond to any concern/request! And this was the best Vrbo in terms of all the necessities were there (spices, cutlery, pots, pans, linens, extra pillows, towels)! We had a great time!
Loved our stay here! Views on the back deck are so peaceful. House was clean and well stocked. Convenient location to Shenandoah National Park and other attractions. Perfect place for a family getaway!
The hosts were excellent to work with. They responded quickly to any questions and solved our small issue promptly. The house was clean and organized, minus some cobwebs on the decks. Some family relaxed and enjoyed the quiet surroundings while others found many enjoyable activities to fill their day. I would recommend this house and location to others.
