Very easy rental process - all questions answered quickly. The house was absolutely beautiful and comfortable better than the pictures! Would definitely recommend renting again!
This house was so roomy and comfortable for us. We had 6 adults and a baby. Plenty of room to gather and space to spread out when needed. I loved sitting on the deck watching the sunrise each morning and watching the fish jump all day. Very convenient to the places we wanted to go as well.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood with homes on the canals. Our stay was relaxing and fun.
I’ve been fishing with the same group of guys for 25 years in OBX. This was our first year trying the Colington area and we absolutely loved it. This house is perfect for 4 adult fisherman but 5 would be one too many. The House and the neighborhood was amazing. Quiet, Peaceful, and relaxing. The House is well appointed with everything needed: Kitchen supplies, outdoor activities (Kayaks, Crab Traps, Hot Tub, and Grill). Me and my guys all agree that we want to come back to this house next year. The staff was amazing and easy to get hold of. Thank you to our hosts.
Loved the location and the house with all the amenities they had with it. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was fir the cleanliness of the front of the house. The sides and back was great. The front needs to be washed. In my opinion its because the motion lights stayed on constantly drawing bugs, which causes a mess
Overall, we had a nice stay and the house worked well for our family. The location was excellent—close to restaurants and shops—and the layout offered plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood pool was a hit with the kids (although no pool toys or inflatables are allowed), and the kayaks were a fun bonus. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it appeared clean. There were a few downsides. The Colington Harbour swimming beach was closed our entire stay due to high bacteria levels, which was disappointing. We were also notified the house was ready hours before the 5 p.m. check-in, but we’d planned our travel around the official time and couldn’t take advantage of it.The home could use some maintenance. The deck furniture is worn (crumbling table tiles and dry-rotted chairs), and nicer seating upstairs would make the views more enjoyable. Cleanliness was okay but not great—we found long hair in the master shower, and the coffee pot had buildup that required deep cleaning before use. The brand-new towels left lint everywhere until we washed them ourselves. The refrigerator ice maker also didn’t work, so we had to buy ice all week.Despite those issues, we enjoyed our stay. With a little more attention to maintenance and housekeeping, this would easily be a five-star rental.
