Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear that you felt completely at home and found the space comfortable and spacious. Creating a welcoming and comfortable stay for our guests is exactly what we strive for. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would be delighted to welcome you back anytime you’re visiting Fairbanks! ❤️
Very comfortable and had a great patio to sit on to relax. Is an upstairs unit that I did not notice mentioned in the property description. Two of my party have knee issues so it was a little tough on them but was a lovely place to stay.
Thank you, Jennie! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. A wine opener is tucked in the kitchen drawer, but I’ll be sure to make it easier to spot for future guests. Cheers, and we’d be happy to host you again anytime!
Over-all good stay. Carpet looked like someone spilled bleach all over it. Wierd. Bathroom fan squeelling. Couldn't turn off the baseboard heaters. Hot at night. Everything else good. Clean and comfortable.
The unit was very clean, was big enough for us and is a nice place. However, the owners need to describe it as an upper unit of a home. I was under the impression that we had the full house. It is pet friendly, but not pet safe as the yard is not fully fenced in. The owners are also very fee happy. Charging a clean fee and then asking for the renters to make sure things were clean and if not followed result in another fee. The cookware also needs to be replaced as they are very dated and used. The owners below cooked a dinner one night and the strong odor was not very pleasant to come back to.

Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. The listing clearly identifies this accommodation as the upper unit, not the entire building. The downstairs is a separate Airbnb unit occupied by other guests and is not the owner’s residence. Therefore, the reference to “the owners below” cooking dinner is inaccurate. We also cannot control what guests staying in a separate unit choose to cook.
We welcome pets, but a fully fenced yard is not advertised as an amenity. Pet-friendly does not automatically mean that a private fenced yard is provided. Guests traveling with pets are responsible for supervising their animals.
Regarding cleaning, the cleaning fee covers normal turnover and cleaning between reservations. Hosting pets requires additional attention to pet hair and appropriate cleaning products and detergents. Our checkout instructions simply ask guests to remove excessive pet hair before departure. Guests are not expected to professionally clean the property; additional charges apply only when cleaning goes beyond normal turnover.
We appreciate that you acknowledged the unit was very clean, spacious, and a nice place. We encourage guests to carefully review the listing and amenities before booking and to contact us during their stay if they have concerns so we have an opportunity to assist.
