Welcome to your cozy home in Glacier Country! This newly-constructed 1000 sq ft upper level "bardonimium" on 11 acres is nestled perfectly between the majestic mountains of the Gateway to Glacier and green fields of the Flathead Valley.

Enjoy the breathtaking mountain views and excellent stargazing from the comfort of your couch or private deck!

Watch herds of elk and deer from your windows, along with flocks of wild turkey and other bird species.

Whether you're relaxing or adventuring (or maybe a little of both!), we look forward to hosting you at our spacious retreat in the heart of the Flathead Valley. This 1 King bed/1 Queen bed/1 bath apartment with luxury finishes is the ideal home base to explore the best of Northwest Montana.

Amazing Stay

Everything about this stay was so incredible. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful, the house was beautiful and clean, and the views were stunning. We will definitely stay here again our next Montana trip!

Great stay for Glacier!

What a wonderful place to stay for our trip to Glacier National Park! Very close and convenient to the park and places to eat. This was a great place to come back and relax and enjoy the scenery. It had everything we needed and the hosts made sure of that. We enjoyed our short stay there and would definitely come back if we are ever out West again. Great place!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway!

This might be one of the best places I have ever stayed on vacation. Bonnie and Ken have the most thoughtful and well stocked accommodations you could want. It was clean, beautiful, and had amazing views. Very close to the park and coffee shops! These hosts are amazing as well, very responsive and friendly.

Lovely place!

Bonni and Kindal were the most gracious hosts! We enjoyed staying in their beautiful and comfortable home with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. It was a perfect place to come back to and relax our trail weary bodies after being in the park which is a short drive away. We would highly recommend!

This property was perfect! The rental was very clean and beautifully decorated. The check in process was super simple and the owners were very responsive toward any need we had. The back deck was a great place to relax, have dinner and watch wildlife roam in the evening. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.

Perfect Place to Wind Down

My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay at the Rocky Mountain Balcony. We were visiting Glacier and often times at the end of the day we were very tired and in need of a recharge after a day of fantastic views and hiking. Kindal & Bonni’s property provided the perfect place to relax and wind down. It was super quiet, great amenities, and the views can’t be beat.

Great Place

This is a great place for a small group or couple. It's well equipped and furnished. Great view from the deck. There are a couple of small rental cottages on the property but placed so that it didn't interfere with our privacy. I have stayed a dozens of VRBO rentals in Montana in the past and wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this on.

Perfect small family stay for GNP

Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Kindal and Bonni! The property is immaculate and everything in the rental is in excellent condition. The location is perfect for all we did in the park and out of the crowds of August in GNP when we returned. So loved the full capacity washer/dryer for all our dirty hiking clothes, the cuisinart drip coffee maker with timer for early mornings, cool a/c, fluffy towels and hot showers!

Cozy and wonderful

Rocky Mountain Balcony is a wonderful place to stay. It's near enough to Glacier to make trips in convenient but in a quiet location with a beautiful view! It was clean and had everything we needed. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Thank you for having us! We definitely would come back!!

An amazing place to stay!!

This was a beautiful, cozy and perfect place to relax and unwind. The place is new and beautifully furnished and decorated. The owners thought of every item that you could possibly need. The view is amazing and close to town. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and we can’t say enough about them. Great Place - Good Views

Wonderful view! Very clean, easy to check in, comfortable beds, and beautifully decorated. We have a 1 year old and had to move the decorations so he didn’t mess with them but it was easy to do. Would definitely stay again! Drinking coffee on that porch with the mountains was so relaxing before hitting Glacier for hikes. Very nice hosts and they were responsive!

Can’t go wrong with this place!

If you’re looking for a base camp when visiting GNP or the Columbia Falls/Kalispell/ Whitefish area this is the perfect spot. The place was immaculate and well appointed with amazing views rights off the balcony. We had a family of four and it had plenty of room for all of us. Bonni & Kindal we’re wonderful hosts and responded quickly with any questions we had. We will definitely stay again next time we come out to visit!

Peaceful mountain retreat

This place was lovely, quiet and a beautiful view. We stayed here for a week and loved it. All the basics were provided. Owners were very responsive. The views off the deck are amazing!! Such a wonderful getaway since we live in a busy suburban area. Highly recommend. Only about 15 minutes to Glacier which is where we spent most our time.

Family trip to Montana

We had an amazing experience staying at this location. It was conveniently located close to Columbia Falls and to the entrance of Glacier National Park. The upstairs apartment was maticuously clean and cozy like you were staying at your home away from home. Great views and great place to relaxe after some long hikes. Lovely home with a breathtaking view!

This barndo is so wonderfully appointed. Bonni and Kindal have gone above and beyond, providing items their guests might need. They’ve furnished each room with well-above grade furniture, cabinetry, and lovely millwork. But best of all, whether inside or out on the big balcony, the Rockies are front and center to enjoy Amazing!!!
