The Pirate House: A charming 3-bedroom cottage in historic Little Washington

Nestled in the Historic District of Little Washington, this 1901 cottage will be your home away from home. Bike (2 included) or walk to downtown shops and restaurants or the waterfront. Relax on the large front porch. Take in the views of the Pamlico River from the back porch. Grill out while you watch the sun set.

The perfect place for a couple or a whole family.


This is a historic home and comes with the quirks of an old house.

WiFi/Smart TVs but no cable
Equipped kitchen, sorry no dishwasher or icemaker

Washington is booming so you may hear construction noise.

We visited Little Washington for a weekend and quickly made it home. We hope you will find our little town and this little house just as welcoming!

This was a really enjoyable older property that was clean and well kept. Everything was in working condition and the entire process was super easy. We enjoyed the water view from the furnished back porch as well as the bicycles on property. We would definitely return!

Great spot in Little Washington!

We had a great stay at The Pirate House. Check-in was seamless, accommodations comfortable, amenities plentiful, and we were within walking distance of practically everything that makes Washington, NC, the quintessential river town. Cozy cottage

Sweet historic cottage within walking distance of downtown. We walked to breakfast and dinner. Even pickleball courts nearby! The backyard was an amazing space to hang out with our little pup. We could look out over the water. We will definitely be back. Very quiet and safe.
