Furnished Bright Quiet Studio Flat In Mission Hills (SD)

Furnished studio flat with own entrance. One of two separate dwellings on a large gated property. Located in quiet neighborhood with street parking that never gets close to filling up.

To provide peace of mind during pandemic, when your dates are firm we will clean studio flat and disinfect handles/knobs/etc the day before your arrival and leave windows open until your arrival.

Flat is 22 feet X 18 feet (396 sqft). Has a full bath (5' X 8') and a kitchen area (11' X 5.5') with full-sized oven/stove, full-sized fridge, and sink. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Queen sized bed. Clothes closet.

Windows on all four sides of the flat look out mostly on trees and (across a street) a canyon area. Quiet and peaceful area but centrally located (close to Balboa Park, zoo, Downtown, Little Italy, airport and bay) with good access to I-5 Freeway.

Enter through security gate and then floor-2 private entrance (visitors will be given your own keypad code for both). Two small friendly dogs are sometimes out in yard.

Studio flat is on second floor (above a carport not used very much), separate from other dwelling on property.

Great San Diego experience

The property was great. Clean and peaceful. The hosts were very respectful and responsive. This place was a couple mile radius to many of the attractions in San Diego. I would recommend this place and I would stay there again.

Another Great Stay

I spent a full month at Hal and Christine's apartment, my third stay there. The apartment was, as always, in great condition. It's quiet, comfortable, and in a great neighborhood. Hal and Christine are very kind and welcoming. I always enjoy my time here and I'll be back soon.

Perfect apartment

The apartment is perfect for a solo traveler like myself. It's in a great and central location - close to the airport, 15 mins to downtown, 25 minutes to La Jolla. It's quiet, clean, and comfortable. This was my second stay and I'll be back. Hal and Christine are great hosts!

Close to everything, wonderful property owners. I would highly recommend this property. It was in a beautiful area close to everything. Parking was never an issue. The apartment was clean, quiet and extremely comfortable. It had everything needed for a long term stay. The owners were also on property and were beyind nice. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Everything it was meant to be!

This property did not dissappoint. My friend needed a place to stay for a month during a remodel of his home. This property fit the bill perfectly and the host delivered all that was promised. In fact, there was confusion the last day as my friend didn't understand the check out time. The host was very gracious about it and that was deeply appreciated.

Quaint little getaway

My wife and I stayed at Hal's place for 3 weeks to use it as a bit of a base for smaller trips on the area (Catalina, Palm Springs, etc).It was the perfect little home away from home to always come back to between trips for us. The place is a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you might need, both the couch and bed were quite comfortable, and the bathroom was fully stocked with towels everything else you might need.The area is great to explore San Diego, without being right in the touristy area. It felt like a very safe neighborhood.We actually had to slightly change our dates last minute due to my wife's work

A successful stay

We stayed through January and February; everything was as advertised. The apartment is small, but clean, comfortable and functional. The location is quiet and convenient (if you have your own vehicle), and parking was never a problem. We took full advantage of the proximity of Balboa Park, and the 5 beach walks within easy driving distance (Harbor Island, Coronado, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla). Communication with Hal and Christine was quick and easy, and their suggestions were helpful. One fly in the ointment was the unstable wifi, but Hal was working with the provider (Cox) to get the problem resolved. All-in-all, a very successful holiday!

Great stay!

This loft was perfect for our stay! It was clean and stocked with soap/shampoo, coffee and kitchen supplies! The location was great - quiet and residential but not too far from things in the city. Hal & Christine were very friendly and easy to contact. I highly recommend this flat!

Best Lil Studio in SD

This studio has EVERYTHING you will need! It was amazing for my month long stay and Hal and Christine were always around if I needed something. It’s on a quiet street in a great neighborhood. Would highly recommend!

I stayed in their studio apartment for three months during a summer internship from May to July. It had everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the apartment even down to the smallest details so you could feel right at home. Great place to stay in Mission Hills!

My girlfriend and I needed a long term Vrbo while we found jobs and a new home in SD. Hal and Christine were so great! The flat is very nice and has everything you would need. The neighborhood is quiet and nice for walks. Close to a market, restaurants, and easy to get to anywhere in SD. Hal and Christine were very sweet and were there to help with anything we needed! We highly recommend staying here!

Perfect!

I stayed at Hal and Christine's place for 5 months during my recent transition to living in San Diego. And, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The flat had EVERYTHING I needed to live comfortably and the beautiful and accessible location made my introduction to San Diego an incredibly positive experience. Last but definitely not least, Hal and Christine were the most gracious of hosts. Whenever I had a need or request they were immediately responsive and helpful.
