Knik River Lodge offers cozy Alaska cabin accommodations and Alaska’s wilderness at your doorstep! The lodge is just a 1-hour drive north of Anchorage in Knik River valley and near the spectacular Knik Glacier. The Knik River Lodge cabins are each equipped with high quality bedding, private bathrooms, fireplace, mini-fridge, and coffeemaker. The property also includes the Raven’s Perch Restaurant featuring fresh local ingredients for dining and lounging on the deck.
Overnight guests as well as day visitors to the lodge can choose from a menu of optional tours including fly-out adventures by helicopter. Starting in early May until the end of September Knik River Lodge is a helicopter base for glacier flightseeing adventures including glacier landings, guided Heli-hiking and glacier dogsled tours.
We recommend staying two nights to enjoy one of the most beautiful places in Alaska. It is an easy and very scenic drive on your own, or book our daily scheduled shuttle service from downtown Anchorage locations. Our easily accessible wilderness retreat is the perfect start or end to your Alaska vacation!
