Our group loved staying in the cabin by the trout stream! Very clean, all amenities as advertised, communicative host, comfortable accommodations. Great location-gorgeous views! Thanks Dan!
We enjoyed our stay at A-frame along the trout stream. Had some visitors numerous times like deer and roaming yard turtles. Quiet and peaceful in that valley. The unit was clean and very comfortable.
Super easy check-in. Dan was very communicative and helpful. This was an annual trip with a group of old college buddies, and we all agreed this was the best place we’ve stayed. The house is very comfortable, well stocked with necessities, and well taken care of. The huge yard and creek were a great backdrop for our weekend, and provided ample space for different lawn games. The driveway was also perfect for our stand-up pickleball net! Would love to make this our go-to spot each year. Thanks Dan!
This A-frame was very roomy, homey and we liked that there was a bedroom and bathroom on 2 floors. The property is large and quiet with a stream running through it. It was a beautiful night so we had a fire in the fire pit under a full moon. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we are in the area!
The property was great; there were more usable spaces than the photos initially suggested. I didn't realize there was a third bedroom in the basement until I got there! If considering booking this property be aware that the cell coverage is not strong. Verizon was adequate, but my Mint mobile phone was unusable. Also, the creek in the back meant that the mosquitos were BLOODTHIRSTY (we were here in summer).None of that should deter you, however. This place has plenty of country charm while being situated very close to "civilization". The host is local and quick to respond. Would recommend.
My spouse and shared this place with another couple. We enjoyed it. The pictures are accurate. It is spacious, open, very clean. There are stairs at the entrance and one second floor bedroom, just fyi for anyone with mobility challenges. Beautiful piece of property. Great for watching wildlife. We had one problem with the key pad. It was a bit of a hassle. Dan came over right away. We all enjoyed talking to him so much it erased any anoyance. Place deserves high ratings.
We met in La Crosse with our adult children and their families for Thanksgiving. We were so happy to have Dan's A Frame had availability!! He was excellent at communication, his entire home was clean and inviting! Sometime A Frames can be cold, but this home was toasty warm and even the 2 year old stayed warm all night!! Plenty of dishes, and cooking utensils to do a full Thanksgiving dinner!! We hope to come back in the summer and do some trout fishing!!! We will be back!
We were very impressed with the cabin and the property. It fit our needs perfectly for attending our granddaughter's graduation party and, the stream didn't disappoint in producing trout. Thank You,Bruce & Lanette Place
