We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house and grounds are beautiful and the wonderful walking trails our host kindly maintains are a real treat!
This was our second stay and was even more magical than the first. We loved the walking trails, horses, fire pit and we saw lots of deer. The highlight for our three kids was the ping pong table. We look forward to coming back.
My husband and I stayed one night as we were passing through the area so we did not have to opportunity to explore all there was to see. Cabin was very clean. Property is beautiful and peaceful. Easy to get to. Check in and check out were painless. Would be a lovely location to spend a weekend.
The location is so peaceful. A beautiful valley in the driftless region. It was great for our girlfriends weekend. Relaxing and a place to really exhale. Lots and lots of stars visible while sitting at the fire ring. The home was well furnished and great for cooking our meals. Highly recommend it!
We had a great time as family and our stay was enjoyable because of the ease of check-in/check-out, the cleanliness of the home, and the overall hospitality.
This property is extremely clean and well kept. The property owners are helpful and very kind. The scenery is great, with all the greenery, the deer that wandered around and the quietness of the area.
The place is very new and clean. We loved staying there and would do so again! TVs in every room. Located in the middle of rolling hills and farm land. Very picturesque.
Highly recommended for a quiet getaway. The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed for cooking. The property is large, very quiet and secluded but still easily accessible. We enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and Great Bluffs state park is just 15 minutes away with some fabulous trails leading to beautiful views overlooking the river. Also enjoyed quiet afternoons reading on the deck and sitting by the fire in the evening. Great place to stay!
It was a very peaceful, clean and comfortable visit. We had daily wildlife sightings. Flower gardens were gorgeous and wildflower lined country roads. Life at its best.
This property was in a perfect, quiet setting, extremely clean and had an added bonus with the two sweet horses. Communication with owners was perfect, as well as the check in process. Would most definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay at Julie's place. As people who live in the city, we appreciated the opportunity to escape the noise and lights of our typical environment. We intend to make it an annual trip as it's the perfect little weekend escape for us :)
There are beautiful views out every window! It was a unique experience with horses on the property and farm fields all around. The house is very clean, well maintained, and updated. Julie was very kind and I would recommend this stay to everyone!
The house was very clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet rural location, but a short drive to LaCrescent and LaCrosse. We enjoyed hiking the trails on the property, visiting with the horses and just relaxing.
Very clean nicely apportioned home in the countryside. Amazing views of farm land and rolling hills. Perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of life
We needed lodging for a family wedding and I was lucky enough to find this gem. Was so nice to be close to the venue yet in a quiet country setting. Felt just like home.
Beautiful 3-bedroom home in a scenic agricultural valley. Everything you need for a calm getaway is provided! Wife & I enjoyed a refreshing "unplugged" time away with our two dogs after an especially stressful Christmas season and the unexpected loss of my father. No snow this January, but we all enjoyed hiking the property's wooded trails.
