We loved our stay at the 8's. The house was exactly as described. The layout was great for our family. The beds were comfortable and some of the basics were provided that you don't always get with a rental - salt and pepper, air freshener, laundry detergent, extra phone chargers, plastic grocery bags and firewood bundles in the garage (wish we would have found those before we bought some!). The only other things that I would suggest providing for guests would be marshmallow roasting tools and beach towels. We loved how close we were to town, especially the nearby beach and absolutely beautiful sunsets. The location was great for seeing the Pictured Rocks lakeshore from the east end working west. We were glad we stayed here and not Munising for that remote, U.P. feeling. Check out the Dream Bean for excellent coffee and pasties. The pizza at the tavern was great too.We were NOT prepared for how limited (and expensive!) grocery options would be in Grand Marais, so I HIGHLY recommend stocking up on your grocery needs before you travel.

Absolutely loved the house. If you need somewhere to relax and unwind this is where you need to go. The house is amazing and the town was great for us and the kids. Would recommend to anyone.

The house was very nice and clean. The driveway was big enough to accommodate our 2 trucks with 4 place snowmobile trailers. We were concerned about it only having 1 bathroom for the 8 of us but we managed. A 1/2 bath in the basement would make this place perfect. We had a great trip.

The farmhouse was very well kept and clean. It was a perfect place for our stay in Grand Marais. There was lots of room in the four bedrooms and the spacious garage was nice to have during our packing on a rainy day.

Very easy to find, easy access, close to town, inside and outside was very clean, had everything we needed from dishes, cookware, towels and even a little wood pile for a bonfire. Super easy checkout instructions. Over all very happy weekend stay!
