If relaxing indoors is more your speed, spend the day lounging in the 4 season room that overlooks miles and miles of unobstructed views of Lake Superior. Lake Muskallonge is a short walk from the property and boasts terrific inland fishing, boating and much more! Grand Marais, MI is a short drive 18 miles west and is the eastern Gateway to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The North Country Trail is accessible from the beach for endless miles of hiking or go fishing in the famous Two Hearted River. Trail maps are available in the house or download AllTrails app. Bring your clubs for golfing at beautiful Newberry Country Club. Captain’s Hideaway is a dream come true. The UP is amazing for all outdoor activities. From scuba diving to shooting. Close to exciting activities such as Oswald’s Bear Ranch. Walk to Muskallonge State Park, a good place for moose sightings. So many amazing day trips such as Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks or Mackinac Island. The North Country Trail, the longest in the National Trail System stretching 4,700 miles from North Dakota to Vermont runs along the back of the property. 30 minute drive to Newberry Country Club for golf& dining. You can make a bonfire on the beach at night while searching for agates and Yooperlites. We hope you enjoy this home as much as we do. Do not hesitate to contact any of us with questions.
