Great stay in Glen Ellen. It's a very pretty little town, and the house is lovely. Very spacious and clean. Would highly recommend. Good location for both Sonoma and Napa valleys.
We loved our visit. The beds were very comfortable. The outside space was peaceful and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a wonderful girls weekend. Dave is very helpful for anything we wanted to do in the area.
This place is a truly special spot. It was immediately cozy when we entered and we had such a great time hanging out there during thanksgiving. The kitchen is so well stocked with cooking equipment it brought me some kitchen envy for my own home. There is a beautiful backyard right on a creek that is peaceful and secluded. There’s also a fun hangout area in the basement with a ping pong table, couches and speakers which was super fun for evenings. Also, it’s within walking distance to the Glen Ellen Star restaurant which is truly outstanding - definitely worth getting a reservation when you’re here.
Beautiful home. Well appointed. Comfortable rooms. Great location... and Dave cooked an amazing meal, and would recommend his talents to put a punctuation mark on your stay!
The house is beautiful, comfortable and serene. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the peaceful river in the comfy chairs. We also enjoyed the location - a great quiet little neighborhood very close to the heart of Glen Ellen. Les Pascales French bakery and the Jack London Saloon were big hits with our family.
This is a great home base for wine country. We’ve stayed here twice and it’s been amazing both times! The home has really comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms and showers for all the guests and is fully stocked with everything you could possibly imagine. This is in a quiet corner of Glenn Ellen is a really great city near Sonoma.
What a wonderful, relaxing, perfect summer vacation for our family. The location is great, we walked and got hot coffee, fresh bread, pastry in the mornings. Very close to Imagery Winery and BR Cohn Winery both delicious wine and family friendly. House has AC, plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We'll definitely return, the house was perfect.
My family had a wonderful stay at the property over the Thanksgiving weekend. David, the host is super nice and so very easy to work with. The property was perfect for the 8 of us and we felt we had enough space to relax in our separate quarters when needed. The kitchen is a dream and stuffed with all the things one would need to cook and beyond. Great house and neighborhood, definitely would love to return in the future!
We had a fantastic stay! Wolf Glen is very well appointed- and literally steps from a bakery, a market, and a very fun saloon! We also loved that you can access Sonoma Valley Regional Park from Carmel Ave, and Jack London State Park right down the road (we loved the museum and the hike to the Wolf House ruins. Great 2 family getaway!
Very much enjoyed our stay. We had a group of friends and all of our rooms were comfortable. Everything that we needed was stocked and the house is in a great location on a beautiful property. Glen Ellen and this house were a great place to call home for our visit to Sonoma!
Our group of 6 had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful and well-adorned home that was a very short walk to the quaint Glen Ellen town center. The house was stocked with everything we could need - it truly felt like home! We will definitely plan our next trip to Sonoma around being able to stay at Wolf Glen!
Perfect property in the middle of wine country w/ minutes walking access to everything you need. Great kitchen w/ everything you need for staying in, enjoying the property and cooking a big meal.
This house is even bigger, nicer and cleaner than the pictures show. It is in a great location walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and bakery. It was big enough for 10 girls to stay. It was very clean and fully stocked with anything you could need for your stay.
This was the best appointed house we have ever stayed in. Everything was provided and the house was extraordinary. It was a great location for exploring wineries in Napa
And Sonoma Valleys. The really quiet in-town location was great for groceries, restaurants and especially pastries!
Five star all the way.
Dave was one of the best hosts we’ve experienced. This home was clean, Holiday ready, perfect amount of space for 9 ppl and cozy cozy. Nothing missed as far as special touches. Description was perfect. Location perfect to everything.

Lovely, well appointed home!
I stayed here with 7 friends for a long weekend and we found the home really well appointed, spacious and fun to hang out in. The kitchen is amazing and it had everything we could possibly need. Sleeping at night with the sound os the nearby creek softly gurgling in the background was wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms are gorgeous. Definitely recommend this home!

About the host
Hosted by David Walker
'Wolf Glen' derived its name from the many Jack London novels that were about wolves. Jack London lived in Glen Ellen and the state park named after him is a short walk from our home. As for the 'Glen' part, the trees are so beautiful that we had to use 'Glen' in the name. Pictured is our dog, Potus, who extends his warm welcome. We do hope that Wolf Glen is all that you want it to be and more - enjoy!!
Why they chose this property
The creek, the trees, the tranquility and the location to restaurants, wineries and the Glen Ellen Market make this home ideal for visiting the wine country. We have looked for a home in Sonoma County for years and stayed in vacation rentals throughout the wine regions and finally settled on the town of Glen Ellen due to its central location in the Sonoma Wine Valley and its proximity to the Napa Valley. Once we settled into the town of Glen Ellen we fell in love with the heart of the community and everyone we have met.
What makes this property unique
We found Wolf Glen on a lark and fell in love with it immediately. The home feels elegant and sophisticated and offers a unique balance of privacy and access to the heart of downtown Glen Ellen. We can walk to restaurants, winery tasting rooms, and a gourmet grocery store yet the home is on a private, quiet road and feels as if it is in the middle of nowhere. The stars at night are amazing. Just a short walk from the home we can enter into Sonoma Regional Park and hike up in the hills, or drive a short mile and be in Jack London State Park.
