It was lovely property. Very well equipped and clean. The outside area was wonderful with a nice private pool. An extra bonus was the ocean area with a kitchenette and rooftop lounge area.Gated and very secure. The host responded immediately. The air conditioning kept us comfortable when in use.

Fantastic stay!

This host was top notch creating an amazing home away from home thinking of everything we may need! The property was clean and beautiful and we had a wonderful time! We fit 12 of us comfortably (6 adults and 6 kids) and everyone had a blast! Highly recommend!

Phenomenal home with 4 spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, great pool, great covered patio, a mere 50 yards from a private beach. It's on a small road safe for walking/jogging (5 mile round trip to the Wyndham resort. Security was not a concern at all at the house. Air conditioners worked great. Great kitchen - well stocked. Hosts were great - complementary bottle of wine...plenty of coffee. 100% would stay here again. ten minute drive to grocery and fun bars

This is a fabulous rental property! Stayed here a week, February 2026, with childhood/high school girlfriends for our 65/66th birthday celebration. The property is spacious, very clean, has so many extra items provided (thanks for the fans and bug spray we used in the evenings!), and paper items. Kitchen is well stocked and had some basic spices to cook many meals. We loved the pool, the quiet sandy beach to walk, the covered patio to enjoy a couple brief showers, and the security of locked gates. We ventured out to a few nearby activities such as El Yunque (so close!), Luquillo food kiosks, bioluminescence kayak tour, and a food tour in Old San Juan. Brenda and Edwin were gracious hosts and quick to respond with the few questions we had. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful vacation spot with others! I HIGHLY recommend this VRBO property!

Unbelievably great place to stay

I really can’t think of anything bad to say about our stay here. We had our family vacation and we all had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and very well kept. Lots of room to roam and it’s a nice option to be able to swim at the pool or the ocean. There’s a lot of adventures to go on also that’s not too far away. The only thing I could even remotely think of a downfall is the drive to the house. Some people may see that as a negative but I love that. I’d rather have that than be so close to everyone. I would highly recommend this house. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic Escape with Friends!

Our group of 12 had a fantastic weeklong stay at Palma Sola. We had 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 8-18) and our favorite thing about the property was how much space there is to spread out. We never felt like we were crowded or lacking space. The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The beach was great for sitting in the water with a drink and for the littlest kids who don’t like waves, but the big kids preferred going to the nearby public beaches. We did have a few minor maintenance issues while we were there, but Brenda and Edwin were very responsive and super nice to work with. Finally, the location was amazing. There were several great beaches and the Yunque national forest very nearby, and San Juan was just a short drive away. I would definitely return to Palma Sola Retreat.

My family and I had an amazing vacation here. Host was responsive with everything. Amenities in this home are unlike any other. The host thought of everything you could need. My family and I planned to travel to another beach one day of our vacation and we changed our plans and stay at the house the entire vacation no one was bored. No one was on top of each other we had ample amount of room fitting the maximum number of sleeping occupancy. Next family trip we plan we will definitely be looking to stay here again. If you are hesitant or not sure on booking this home, just do it. We also booked their sister property amazing as well.
