THE NEIGHBORHOODT
The condo is located in the community of Urquillos, a typical Andean neighborhood surrounded by corn fields, mountains and glacier; also very close to major hotels, spas and 5-star restaurants; and only 40 minutes from the train station to Machu Pichu.
Urquillos part of an Inca road (Qapaq NAN) to Chinchero, ideal for intermediate level trekking with a duration of 3 hours.
In addition you can do many adventure sports such as bicycling, rafting, horseback riding, kayaking, ziplines, etc)
Urquillos community is very safe and the people are very friendly. We recommend taking a walk around the area to enjoy the countryside, the cobblestone streets, animals, giant corn crops and the surrounding mountains. In the main plaza (3 blks condominium) you will be able to find a small store for water, some fruits and vegestables, etc.

GETTING AROUND
In Urquillos everything can be done on foot. The hotels Aranwa and Explora are located within 15 minutes walking distance.
To move around Urubamba and Sacred Valley in general, we recommend calling a taxi company or car rental (ask for help in keeping house reservations).
You can also walk to the main road (road linking all the villages of the Sacred Valley) and take a bus. Walking time to the main road is 15 minutes.
