Cosy apartment in Achrafieh, Beirut

The Space

This is a 170 sqm sunny furnished apartment on the 4th floor of a residential building. It includes a large balcony, 2 bedrooms (2 beds each), 2 full bathrooms (1 bathtub), kitchen, family room, living room and dining room.
The apartment has AC units in the bedrooms, living room, dining room and family room. In winter, central heating is available.

The kitchen is fully equipped: microwave, oven, gas stove, fridge, kitchenware and washing machine. Moreover, you'll have at your disposal all kind of eating and cooking utensils as well as a a food processor, juicer, iron and iron board.

Lebanon has severe power outages. The apartment is powered by a generator for 13 hours per day. There’s no regular schedule for the power’s distribution. It varies per month but usually it’s 3 hours in the morning, 3 in the afternoon and 7 in the evening.
Consequently you cannot turn on more than one Air Conditioner (low fan) at a time during summer time.
The elevator is operating only if the Electricity of Lebanon is on (currently 2 hours per day).

Beirut has a lack of sufficient available water resources, in other words we don't receive water on a daily basis. The apartment has a dedicated 2,000 liters water tank. However, carelessness usage of water will empty your water tank.

Guest Access

Fresh set of towels, bed sheets, blankets, pillows and bed covers.

Interaction with Guests

I am living abroad. You can reach via WhatsApp or email.

As for check-out, I can be flexible according to the flight departure time especially during week-end. I would appreciate that the guest notify me in case of flight plan changes.

I'm fluent in English, French and Arabic. So feel free to communicate via any of these languages.

The Neighborhood

Safe, Friendly and Quiet neighborhood where you can find just around the building all kind of stores for mobile lines, mini market (Le Caddie), fresh fruits and veggies, Banks (ATM), pharmacies, dry cleaners, hairdressers and bakeries (Wooden Bakery).

We are a walking distance to Sassine square, ABC mall and Spinneys supermarket (5 min), Mar Mikhael (10 min), Down Town and Gemmayze (15 min) for restaurants, pubs and nightlife.

Getting Around

Taxis are very easy to find. There are available 24/7 in the area.
Also downtown Beirut, Gemmayze, Monot St are all within 15min walk. ABC and Sassine square are 5 min walk.

Other Things to Note

Cleaning is done before and after each guest.
