Overall a good stay. Had a minor hiccup with check-in but host got me squared away. There were some signs of property damage beyond what I would call wear and tear but all the important things worked fine (fridge, stove, TVs, wi-fi, etc c.) The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty in the master bathroom. Towels and linens were nice but I didn’t find the couches comfortable. Beds were comfortable and the house was tidy.

Overall, the inside of the property was very nice and well taken care of. We had laundry in the washer in the dryer when we arrived didn’t know where to put them cause there’s no storage area. There was trash left outside on the patio area along with an old hot tub that had been deflated and torn apart had water in it so it was mosquito breeding ground on the upstairs balcony. There was busted lights so you couldn’t use the lights.

Middle floor was super sticky causing white socks to be blackened. We wore our shoes everywhere. No furniture outside was a disappointment. Full size bed extremely hard and no side tables for the lamps. Only 1 fan in 2nd bedroom for 3rd floor which gets warm. Master bathroom no ledge in shower for razors. No hand towels so used washcloths. No kitchen towels for washing or a scrub brush to remove debris before put into dishwasher. Garbage was overflowing outside before our 5 night stay and was never picked up off curb. Garage door never worked so we pulled cord to release so we could pull in one of our vehicles. Neighborhood looks sketchy but was fine in the end. Wasn’t noted 2 flights of stairs for my 70 yr old parents to climb on the daily.

It was clean and beds were ok. It is not really a 4 bedroom and no way sleeps 14. There was only one role of TP in each bath and few extra pillows or towels. No pizza pans and the porxhes were not clean nice or really even useable. Also the bath tup does not plug for a toddler bath.Overall we were happy with the few inconveniences to have a good price and clean stay.

Easy in/out location

We had a great experience, the property was clean. The host was responsive when we needed items. Location was convenient to get into DC for sightseeing. Neighborhood was not the greatest but we had no issues!

Awesome experience

I was coming to town to celebrate my birthday and wanted a place that would accommodate 12-15 people for a day party. The house is beautiful and spacious and was perfect for what I had planned. I will definitely come back and book this property.

We didn’t receive check in info until I messaged the owner 30 mins before our arrival. The neighborhood is not great, it’s noisy, and there is no close proximity for restaurants or groceries. Would not recommend for small kids or families at all. The place desperately needs attention to multiple things that were either broken or just not clean. There is not 4 full bedrooms, but 3. The bed was broken in the second bedroom right in the middle and impossible to get rest on. Lamps in the floor and didn’t even have nightstand. Holes through drywall in house. Missing cabinet door. The listing says hot tub and it was a blow up flat on the ground with dirt everywhere. Beer cans outside and black balloons, looked like someone had a party before we came and it wasn’t properly cleaned! The patio furniture was covered in mold and couldn’t even be used. Smell was not great. Hairs on sheets, we had to wash before we been slept on it. We stayed one night and left the next day. The only positive we had was it a short drive to DC. You get what you pay for and unfortunately lesson learned here

Great house, sketch neighborhood

The house was great, especially for the price. The neighborhood is rough. Do NOT plan on walking anywhere. You will need to Uber or Lyft everywhere you go.

Listing should be corrected to note some things. The “fourth bedroom” is a large open living room area on the bottom floor with a pull out couch. There are no ceiling fans like listed. No outside furniture. Toilet paper holders, door handles and some shelves are not mounted properly. Whole place could do with a paint job. Master bedroom shower stall is super clogged and sink has no water pressure. Stains on carpet. Broken ironing board. Blood stain on mattress protector in master bedroom. Light to left of bed doesn’t work. Missing drawer front on right bedside table. Smoke detector in that room chirping but no battery to be found to replace it. Second larger room upstairs has missing bedside tables with just lamps on the floor. There were wet sheets in the washer when we got there. Rug in main living area is curled in parts and a tripping hazard. There are lights out in every fixture. It’s a three story row home. The third floor is definitely warmer than the other floors. Only one room has a little fan. The outside noise would’ve been a lot if we didn’t have our own fans and sound machines. The hot water heater wasn’t working when we got there but we found the breaker panel in the garage and the breaker was off. Communication from host was semi quick on that. The space for my family was good. Overall the home has a lot of potential but it really needs some TLC. It’s also in a pretty sketchy neighborhood so be prepared when you pull off the highway to get in there.
