The property was billed as a 2-bedroom. So imagine my surprise to find that sheets, pillows, and blanket for the second bed was an additional $49. There was no cutlery, not even a spoon. There were two paper plates and two paper bowls. No coffee or tea making amenities. Internet was extremely poor at 2-4 Mbps down--once the extender--an easy 200' from the house-- was rebooted and the door opened. Not impressed.
My family was going to a concert at Remlinger Farm and were looking for a place close to the show that wasn't a hotel. We had some initial difficulty with check in procedures because they weren't included in VRBO emails but once we got connected to the host everything went smoothly. I can't say enough positive things about the peaceful neighborhood. It was quiet at night and I enjoyed going for a run in the neighborhood in the morning. Some surprises: we were instructed by a sign on the wall that we couldn't flush toilet paper; there are no interior doors except on the room with the toilet so almost no privacy; my family found the beds pretty uncomfortable; the glade plug in deodorizer was pretty overwhelming so we needed to unplug it and open all the windows when we arrived, which was fine since the weather was nice.Overall it was a good place to crash after a concert for one night and had everything we needed but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer because it felt a little too much like roughing it

Thank you for choosing our B&B and sharing your experience. We're glad to hear you found it quiet, perfect for a morning run, and well-rested after the concert.
We'd like to clarify a few points you mentioned:
Bed Comfort: Most guests report being satisfied, but we understand that everyone has different sleep habits and preferences, and we'll continue to monitor this feedback.
Room Design and Privacy: You'll be staying in a standalone, 850-square-foot cottage with a private bathroom and shower, divided into five areas. Some guests even appreciate the lack of a bedroom door, which creates a more farmhouse-like and open feel. Of course, we also understand that some prefer a completely enclosed space.
Toilet Paper Reminder: The wall reminder is simply to prevent clogging caused by flushing too much toilet paper at once, a common precaution in many rural or farmhouse-style accommodations.
Air Freshener: We provide Glade plug-in air fresheners in the rooms to keep the air fresh. However, we understand that everyone has different olfactory sensitivities and will consider offering gentler options.
Unlike hotels, B&Bs' charm lies in their unique design and personalized experience, which may differ from guests' daily lives. We will continue to listen and improve to ensure every guest feels comfortable and relaxed.
Thank you again for your stay and suggestions. We wish you and your family the best of luck on your future travels!
