We had a very nice time. The house was cute and very clean. The inside was very nicely renovated. Parking a boat was a bit challenging on a curve of the main road
Limited lake access for boating.

Glad you had a nice time. I agree parking a boat on road is difficult best to put in and tie to pier. Hope you come back.
After having an issue with Airbnb, we chose to use this site. We found the listing and fell in love with the pictures and location (close to Lake Michigan, but also on its own lake). Diana was wonderful during the whole process, from early check in, to late check out. Our 3 children had a blast, as did we. Would definitely recommend this Lake house to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay for your family!

Great Bang for your Buck!
Very cute and quaint place. I was surprised how big it actually was for a cottage lake house. There are 2 bdrms that are good size with dressers and closets. Plus the upper hallway loft area has a twin bed and a futon couch. Kitchen was well equipped, we ate out the whole time, but it does have the basics. Coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. The 2 tier deck had great views of the lake. The boys loved fishing from the dock. I enjoyed my coffee watching the sunrise in the crisp morning. 2 firepits outside, 1 is on the lower deck which is gas fed, the outer is on the beach which takes wood. No wood provided, but there are many spots you can go to get. Local restaurants are all over. Maple cafe is great for breakfast. Stacy's was a wow for dinner. Casino is near by along with a lot of little towns. South Bend is also close. We will be going next year during the warmer months to enjoy the lake. Overall no complaints, very relaxing and peaceful. Thank you Diana!
We came to the South Bend area for a Notre Dame football game and this house did not disappoint. Ample room, clean, and cozy- plus a short drive to the ND campus. Hope to stay again in the future and get to enjoy the lake more!
We enjoyed the property. We all had a wonderful time hanging out on the deck, cooking s’mores, using the kayak and we had a blast on the paddle board that we brought with us. We stayed during the week and there was not a lot of activity on the lake which was lovely for us to unwind and enjoy. It is perfect for a group of 5. We had 2 adults(Moms) and our kiddos ages 13-15. Thank you!

Small family of four with two children (6, 4). Really enjoyed our stay.
The kids loved swimming, and it couldn't have been easier than walking out the back door to the lake. We brought all our own swim toys, but the rental did provide some. Rental comes with a two person kayak, which the kids enjoyed. Take note, there are no boat rentals (I was interested in a pontoon) on this lake, but with it being a small lake it wasn't a big deal.
Fishing off the dock in the backyard was also a favorite. Really easy for the kids to catch a little fish every time the dropped the line in. Lots of little fish caught, also a couple small large mouth bass. Purchased bait at the Marathon gas station nearby.
Parks close by were fun for the kids (and virtually empty) to enjoy too.
We brought all our own food, utilized the propane grill outside, and roasted marshmallows over the backyard propane fire pit. Highly recommend this place as a nice, safe getaway during this time.
We had a wonderful time at Diana’s place. The place was cozy and had everything we needed for the stay! We went kayaking and fished right off the dock and we caught several bass, blue gills, sunfish and perch! The neighbors were nice too! The patio area was relaxing! The view was gorgeous! My toddler loved they toys and books available! My son even said after we left “want to go back to the people’s house at the lake”. We are definitely coming back!!! Thank you for having us Diana!
Had a wonderful week at the lake! Cottage was very clean and had everything you could need from games and movies to kitchen staples.
Lake is shallow which made for easy swimming. Made great memories with my kids and grandkids , will be back!
We loved the area! The lake was beautiful, sadly the weather wasn’t great but still nice! Comfy and they have a lot if you forget something! Would love to visit again!!
We absolutely loved our stay here! The teenagers all had a blast being kids with nonstop fishing, swimming amd kayaking and the adults did as well! The home was a perfect fit for our group, so relaxing, comfy and accomodating! They had everything we needed plus more there available to us and were always available if we had questions.
Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, multi level decks To enjoy lake views. Close to stores and attractions in the Michiana area. About 45 minutes to Lake Michigan, 20 minutes to Notre Dame. Great stay!

Great Family Getaway
We stayed at this lake house for Memorial Day weekend with our 5 kids. We all had a great time fishing, swimming, and playing with the games provided in the living room. We caught so many fish that we lost count! Thank you for such a great weekend!

BEST LADIES WEEKEND!
We had a WONDERFUL time! This is not just a vacation home, it’s a RETREAT! The minute you open the door the home gives you a big squeeze and welcomes you. We literally dropped our bags and began enjoying the lake life. The pictures to this home do not give it all the credit it deserves. The home is stocked with EVERYTHING...I mean everything!
Thank you for allowing us to stay! We’re looking forward to our next arrival :)

Had a great time at this little peaceful spot on the lake!
House was well appointed and the A/C was a blessing because it gets plenty warm. I'd definitely like to rent this spot again when I'm back in this part of the country!
