Hello! My name is Nik Doda and I am the Italian-American owner of this luxury apartment which is located in one of the most prestigious areas of the city, steps from the Opera di Firenze and around the corner from the Arno river. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a deluxe building served by 2 elevators. This location is the most desirable, as it is within easy walking distance to the city center as well as convenient public transportation. Pay parking is available nearby.

Bright and airy with large French windows, this deluxe apartment has been fully renovated recently with every modern amenity. The luxury apartment has wood floors throughout and consists of 2 double bedrooms and 2 ENSUITE bathrooms with rain showers. Each bedroom has one American Queen size bed suitable for 2 people. One bedroom opens out to a large balcony facing a quiet inner courtyard, and the other bedroom has a large window with a view. The balcony is also accessible from the open plan kitchen with a dining table for 4, a living room with a sofa and HD TV. Ideal for two couples for a short or medium term rental. This elegant & quiet apartment that faces an inner courtyard, is the perfect choice for a wonderful experience in Florence.

In this apartment you will find a clothes washer & dryer, hairdryer, oven, fridge, toaster, microwave, espresso coffee maker and gas cooker and all necessary kitchenware. Linens and towels are provided. Please treat everything as if it were in your own home and clean up after yourself.

Air conditioning & Heating is at your disposal. When you are not in the apartment, please turn off all the lights, heating and air conditioning.
Easily accessible by car paid parking is also available close to the apartment.

Cleaning is included for each rental up to 7 nights. If you are going to stay longer than 7 nights then there will be a 65 Euro charge in cash, payable upon arrival, for every extra 7 nights stay or part thereof. This fee includes cleaning and change of linens and towels.

I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay

Fantastic in Florence

Nik was an absolutely incredible host! The property was perfect, clean, welcoming and VERY conveniently located next to the light-rail and bus stops. This is out of the busy center of town and perfect for a nice and enjoyable stay, with a quick bus ride to anywhere you'd like to be in the city.

Wonderful Apartment ;)

Great Stay! Nik was there to meet us and give us a tour of the apartment. It's an updated apartment with lovely amenities. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are fabulous. Having a washer and dryer was one of the draws for us and so appreciated. I had a little mishap, and Nik happened to be on-site and provided thoughtful recommendations. I highly recommend this property :)

Right by a tram station and a bus stop, location made getting around Florence a breeze. After the first night, trams didn’t bother my sleep at all. So much room made the 5 night stay very comfortable! Everything we needed was available, and Nik made the check in check out process very easy.

The host, Nik, is great! The apartment is very nice, quiet, secure with nice neighbors and located across from the tram stop. A grocery store is a block away and Nik knows all the best local restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great Florence experience!

The apartment was clean, spacious, beautiful and in a very good location. Really appreciated the washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything we needed if we wanted to eat in. It was also great to have the espresso maker. Nik was immediately available if we had questions. I’d recommend this apartment to anybody interested in visiting this beautiful city.

Nik's listing, Montebello Courtyard

Property is very clean and updated, and Nik is an exceptionally responsive property manager. Though one side overlooks tram tracks, the flat is in fact very quiet. It is located west of the Ognissanti, and thus away from the hordes of tourists that surround the Duomo and flow towards the Ponte Vecchio. Those sights are only a mile or 2 away by walking, and are also easily accessible by the C2/C3 buses that stop directly in front of the building where the flat is located. A grocery store is 5 min away. The neighborhood has a number of excellent tratorrie, and the Santa Maria Novella train station is only 10 minutes away, which makes day trips from Florence (Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, Prato) easily accessible. Kudos to Nik for a flat that was well-suited to all our needs for our 1 month stay.

Great little visit

Apartment was great and looks even better than shown in person. Nik met us outside the front door and explained all the relevant things we needed to know, plus gave us great suggestions for our visit. There is bus and tram service directly in front of the building so travel to the old town area was easy and so was the trip to the train station on our departure. We enjoyed the apartment very much and certainly would stay again, but the only thing I felt I should comment on, was that the picture of the front of the building shows someone waving from the balcony of a third floor apartment. This led me to believe that was part of our apartment. It wasn’t. There is a connected balcony at the back to a very un-private courtyard-like space, but not a place to sit and have a drink at. In conclusion, if having a balcony was not part of your filters for choosing this apartment, then you will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay - amazing host!

Our host was an amazing communicator in advance to help us prepare for our arrival, and was highly responsive with recommendations and when we had questions during our stay. The modern apartment had everything we needed (and more!); the extra touches were a nice surprise and easily helped us feel at home (refrigerator stocked with water, kitchen with cooking necessities, and books/magazines available). We were personally welcomed and given a tour of the place, and the location is two easy tram stops from the train station! This was easily our favorite place we stayed in Italy; it will feel like home to us if we are lucky to return one day!! Thank you for an amazing stay!! We highly recommend this gem to others!

We liked that it was not in an area crowded with tourists but was easy to get to the places we wanted to see via tram and bus services that are literally steps away from the building entrance. Easter in Florence

The apartment was wonderful. My cousin and I spent 6 nights there. It was neat, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We also felt safe in the apartment. Entering the building is secure plus it’s on the 3rd floor. Having an elevator was wonderful. Nik was there to meet us for our late arrival, showed us the apartment features and was quick to respond with any questions we might have had. His recommendations were spot on. For lovers of concerts, ballets and operas, the New Opera House is located just across the street from this apartment. The US Consulate & the French Consulate are very close as are several 5 star hotels including the St. Regis and the Westin Excelsior, which has a rooftop bar with an awesome view of the Arno river the Duomo and the bridges of Florence!

Cascine park, the green lungs of the city, where you can relax, jog and bike ride, attend a music festival in the summer or pick up an antique at a weekend flea market or have an aperitivo at the Pavoniere public swimming pool, among centuries old trees, is just 2 minutes away.

The area has all amenities such as supermarkets, shops, banks, a post office and pharmacies. There are several cafe's, bars & restaurants serving local and international food such as Indian, Korean, Mexican, Chinese and Japanese cuisines.

At this location, you will not be the one dragging your luggage through hundreds of tourists to get to the station/airport! The apartment is well served by public transport such as mini-buses and tramvia from the "Leopolda" station right in front of the house, and is located just minutes from all the major sights such as the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the historical heart of the city. Very close to central train station Santa Maria Novella (10 minutes walk or 1 stop by tramway) and 20 minutes by car from the Airport and now 25 mins by tram from the Airport to SMN station.
