Beautiful apartment in a wonderful location

The apartment was in the perfect location. I loved the terrace with its view of the Duomo and the Basilica di San Lorenzo. The apartment was very quiet at night even though it was in a busy area. Highly recommend.

Charming apartment in great location

This apartment was exactly what we needed! It is so charming … and our host’s parents live next door! The building is very secure with a security gate on the ground floor and another one outside the apartment. The rooftop terrace is small, but lovely. We didn’t need to bring so as many clothes as we did, since the washing machine made everything so easy. We have been to Florence several times, but this was our first experience in this neighborhood. It is wonderful ! Just a 10 minute walk to the Duomo or train station, and maybe 12 minutes to the Uffizi. There are many great restaurants just steps away. AND, a leather market is just outside of the apartment door. The best part is the leather store on the ground floor, where they were very friendly and helpful with directions. The only “challenge” is that the Wi-Fi only works in the living room; but who cares? You are on vacation! We will definitely try to stay here on our next trip.

Location, location, location

The location was perfect. The tiny rooftop terrace would be lovely in slightly better weather, although our weather was good for February. It needs new furniture. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets lovely and beautifully laundered. Great closet in the bedroom. Plenty of windows. Carpet in the bedroom needs cleaning or replacing. Washer good. Easy to use. Bathroom ok. Living room has a small couch for seating and has seen better days. No other comfortable chair in the room. Large table with 4 satisfactory kitchen chairs. Way too many of the owner’s possessions remain on the premises. We had a great 10 days.

Perfect

This is a great place for a couple to stay. We had every we needed. It was comfortable, clean and ideally situated close to the Duomo and other tourist locations.
