We stayed 4 nights and had a great time! The cabin had everything we needed. The deck and beach area was perfect and the morning sunrise was even better. Would definately stay here again.
We are return renters and love this cabin. It is perfectly located on a beautiful lake and comfortably accommodatd our family of adults and small children. The kitchen was fully outfitted, the beds were comfortable. We'll be back!

Thank you Susan. It’s been a pleasure to accommodate your family visits and look forward to those in the future.
We had an absolutely amazing time at the lake! The house was perfect for me and my kids. My youngest has special needs, and finding a place that truly accommodates her and makes her feel comfortable is always a challenge—but this place exceeded all expectations. We’re so glad we found this gem and can’t wait to return soon!
It was definitely a get away. The cabin had a cozy feel to it. Felt like we were staying at the vintage family cabin. Having no cable or internet was amazing and being able to watch old movies made night time better. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you Chris. My son laughed at how right on you were about the “vintage family cabin’” feel since all five of my kids spent every summer at the cabin until they had to leave for jobs.
Truly on the water, very clean and comfortable. It was great being able to watch the sunrise from the back porch/patio. The kitchen had about every cooking implement you could imagine. The stove is electric and older so the coils are on the small side and not all, so cooking several items at once required some creativity to get things done efficiently. I loved the screened sleeping porch. I would stay here again.
The property was great for a family. Lots of beds. The dock was a little shallow for docking our boat. Most likely it was the time of year though. Over all a great experience on a great little lake. The kids had fun fishing and boating. :)
My wife and I brought our 3 little ones here (ages 3-7) and had a wonderful week! The cabin is classic, vintage. Just enough for what you need to enjoy time on the lake. Nice sandy beach and well-maintained dock in a wind- and traffic-protected bay.Important note/idea: the sleeping porch with the kids beds is cozy, but, the windows have 0 shades. If you’re bringing kids and don’t want them to wake at 5am with the sun, bring something. We put a bunch of aluminum foil up on the storm shutters and put them up all week and that worked to block out 90%. Without that, we would’ve had a hard time with super early-risers.The owner was super nice and helpful once we got in touch with her. (The phone number on the listing was wrong but it’s probably fixed now!)Overall, the place was everything we needed and we made some fantastic memories!
Adorable very accurate lake cabin. Perfect for our needs
It was clean, basic lake cabin... Fanily stayed there for a wedding in Newport.
We enjoyed the view ... watch out for the sunrise ... gorgeous but bright
We loved our stay at Diamond lake. The property was just as described, very clean, and the swimming and beach were incredible! We will be back for sure!

Diamon Lake in August
Rustic quaint lakefront cabin. Great stay, spent all our time on the water. Room to dock our boat and jet ski, although diamond is pretty shallow and it’s very shallow off the dock probably only 3 or 4 feet. Pretty rustic cabin and we did go out and buy some supplies like a sponge for dishes. No dishwasher or washing machine fyi. We had trouble getting into the cabin when we initially arrived as we had not received a code from the rental agency but we were able to call Vrbo and they connected us. After that there were no issues. Played in the lake all day watched DVD’s in the evening. Nice quiet family getaway.
The location and outdoor space were awesome! House was clean, neighborhood quiet and location very convenient.

Good place to say if you don’t need anything fancy
Overall nice place to stay at the lake. Nice dock, deck, and beach area. The cabin itself could have been cleaner (dust that could use a good deep cleaning). No washer and dryer which is tough with kids. Tried asking questions about our stay through Vrbo app and direct email to owner with no response (email wasn’t valid), granted we didn’t try the listed cell phone numbers. Suggestion to owners to add some umbrellas/shade on the deck for the hot mornings before sun gets behind the house.
It’s a good place to stay if you’re not looking for anything extravagant.
This quaint cabin sits on Diamond Lake and has it's own dock. The decor and furnishings are reminiscent of my childhood memories from the '70's. The bedrooms are very small as are the baths. It is definitely more cabin than hotel, so maybe over priced. The deck and windows in the living room are nice.
We had a great time on our trip. The house was very cute, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Close enough to Newport for a store run. Had a great time laying on the beach and playing in the water.
