Great, roomie, welcoming cottage

Have stayed at Carol's cottage a number of times. Always enjoy returning management is extremely interested and quick to resolve any concerns. I give them 100% Really nice first floor bedroom and huge second floor suite? Fully equipped kitchen and full-size refrigerator, stove, etc. Lovely in the fall and in the winter for short-term escapes

Lovely place. Very clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed kitchen. Deck was private. Use of the Owner 's club was a nice bonus, especially since it was very hot during our stay. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay. Brian was very responsive to several questions I had during the stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. It is very quiet out at The Settlement this time of the year and we loved it. Definitely would stay again.

We enjoyed our visit. Severe weather hit the area during our stay and we felt cozy and safe in the cottage. We appreciated the space and all the comforts of home. We communicated with the owners due to some Internet issues (a result of the storms and not the owners fault in any way) and the response was quick and kind. Good stay!

This property is so cute and cozy. Perfect for 4 adults and one dog. It's only 10 minutes from downtown Galena, and 5 from the Eagle Ridge Resort. Showers were great, too! Brian was easy to communicate with when we had an questions. I would definitely rent again!

We did a quick mid week stay prior to school starting. I love the art throughout the home. Everything was clean and well cared for. There were a few minor issues during our stay. The owners were super quick to respond and check in after. My only complaint would be the limited pool hours (10 am to 8 pm). We weren't able to swim our last day because of this and after a 4 pm check in, once you get settled in, you don't arrive to the pool until 6 (snack bar closes at 6) and you only have 2 hours to swim. As a previous reviewer also stated, everything is quite far away and unwalkable, just as an FYI. We will definitely be back.

Winter getsway

I would recommend this VRBO home to all. This home was beautiful , and had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. The area was easily accessible and quiet. The booking process was a breeze and the owners were thoughtful by checking to make sure everything was to our liking. I would definitely stay here again.

Carol’s Cottage is adorable. Cute and quaint and cozy! We had a great stay and would definitely rent again. Looked exactly like the pictures. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed.

Cottage was beautiful and clean. Showers were awesome with good water pressure and shower heads high enough for taller people. Everyone in the group was in agreement we would come back.

Galena retreat

The house was excellent. Clean. Beds were nice. Shower great. Great area to walk and close to town. Didn’t really use the kithchen much as we only had a couple days and wanted to experience the Galena restaurants. :) Quiet and peaceful.
