We were taking away by the location and beauty of this property. Very quiet and relaxing. The property had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The neighboring cities and state park kept us busy. Check in and communication were open and reliable.

Kate was a very communicative host who made sure we had anything we needed. The cabin was very nice and peaceful and the location to Afton State Park was great for walks. We also enjoyed driving to Afton's downtown and enjoying some ice cream at Selma's. My wife and I appreciated celebrating our 15th year anniversary here, as it allowed us some time to rest and enjoy quiet while the kids stayed with the grandparents. Overall a great place to stay, and we highly recommend!

We stayed here at the end of July over a incredibly hot and humid weekend. I would recommend booking during the cooler parts spring or fall. This is a charming old cottage that has its challenges, but Kate responded quickly.

Cabin was very clean and comfortable tucked in the woods. At the end of a road. The nearby towns have access to the local rivers. Enjoyed exploring. Host did a great job helping a new user find the sight easily and was very helpful.

What a hidden gem. We had an amazing time staying at this really cute cabin on the St. Croix. The cabin is nestled in a lush forest up on a bluff overlooking the river. The interior had everything we needed and remained cool even on an 80 degree day. We were impressed not only by the comfort, but also the design which was historic and welcoming. Kate was a great communicator and was available any time we needed. Highly recommended and we will be staying again. Thank you!

The location was amazing incredibly private, but close to anything I could want or need. I was able to get some writing done and enjoy the beautiful scenery and it was a romantic oasis for me and my partner. I have never had a cabin rental experience be this wonderful and I will definitely be staying there again.

St. Croix Wonder

Charming historical cabin dressed in its cozy finest! Great location on the river with trails and great views. Perfectly appointed with everything one needs. I wish I could live here full time ! Wonderful host as well, I’ll be back !
