We had a great time this past week. The condo was exactly as listed, bonus that it had an actual ice machine in the freezer. (Most condos don’t have one so you’re stuck using ice trays or using bagged ice). The place was clean and we would definitely rent here again.

The rental was great. Easy check in. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Laundry in unit only down fall was the vent goes into the master bath. It does make a mess of the bathroom a cause humidity in there. There was easy access to the pool and beach. Overall I would rent this unit again.

Family friendly stay

This complex offers a convenient location, easy beach access, & heated pool. Our condo featured plenty of comfortable sleeping spaces and a nice balcony view of the pools and ocean. We enjoyed our stay.

The space was great and the room was spacious. All the family was comfortable and enjoyed the trip. Beach access was very good and short walk. Pools were clean and enjoyed as well.

I hate to be mean but this unit could use some work. The dryer vent in the bathroom is appalling. That is a fire hazard. Also, there is a bar stool broken, cabinets above the stove broken, slider doors leading onto the patio are broken. In the upstairs shower the safety bar is broken. Other than that, the condo was good but it’s disappointing to pay over 2k and so many things are broken. I’ve never been to a beach condo that had so many things broken especially one that had a management company running it.

Only Stars for Beach/Pool

Beach and pools great, concession area was convenient and nice.Small issues: Main bedroom smelled like cigarettes. Bathrooms a little small for giving kids baths. Showers had some mold. No broom so we purchased one. (Host offered to reimburse us). No cell service, and the Wi-Fi signal was not good. I was unable to make calls or do anything on my phone for that matter, inside the condo. On a rainy day, garage was completely flooded by the walkway to the beach so to access it you had to walk through a foot of water. Dealbreaker: My kid spotted a huge cockroach in the public bathrm. Husband saw a bunch in the garage one night and we were glad they weren’t in our room until he opened the pantry our 2nd to last night and there one was. Texted host and got a chatbot reply so went through Vrbo app and they sent someone to spray the next day. On our last night, we saw one at 6pm and right then we packed up and got out. We didnt request a refund but I didn’t get even a response from the host. I understand the humidity makes it a space they love, but I’ve never seen a cockroach in any condo I’ve stayed in 30 years. A single roach, I would have brushed off, but two back to back is unacceptable. We left for an 18 hour drive after a long beach and pool day, on no sleep. We have spent less staying at nicer condos, we will not be coming back to Sugar Beach condominiums or staying with Vacation Home Collections - a response would have gone a long way.
