This is my home: Check in/out 6pm/10am. Early arrivals & late checkouts subject to $90 fee, automatic, non-negotiable, no exceptions. Parties not allowed. Headcount affects your price. Semi-guided hunts are extra: Deer up to 5 days $1500/person, Upland birds $75/person/day, Turkeys 3 days $500/person, Waterfowl $200/person/day & Predators $50/person/day +more. 2800 sq ft living space. The space:
This is my personal home so some of my personal items must remain here. Entirely remodeled basement 2019. Please remove shoes inside the house and shut all lights off when leaving the house each time. It’s a big house. This listing is for the entire house and host vacates. Hunters will receive an alteration ONLY via the platform. Tips welcome. My son will be the hunting guide. Please leave the house HOW YOU FOUND IT with one exception: we prefer to pull the bedding. There is a dishwasher. Sweep floors, wipe counters and do not leave any food/drink or trash anywhere. Copy and paste this entire paragraph in our message thread and get $15 off. Dumpster in the breezeway with additional extra large metallic blue dumpster near the propane tank to the north. Please run one load of sheets or blankets NOT TOWELS upon departure. Firewood available upon request. Do not venture over to the Morton building as it's our place of business. We are busy farmers happy to host you. Don’t expect perfect anything. It’s more than an investment, it’s our personal residence. Notify us if anything doesn’t suit you.
Guest access:
Fire pit/bonfires. Basketball hoop outside, indoor parking/outdoor parking, pool, washer and dryer, food, excellent views of sunrise and sunset/evening walks. Several timbers along the Solomon & Smoky Hill rivers. 4700 acres notill farm fields full of wildlife. Ask for more hunting details. Once a hunting reservation is booked it is nonrefundable. Please honor check in/out times. Changes subject to small fee. ($90) Shed hunters and mushroom hunters welcome (fee may apply). Expect to see one of us cleaning the pool, daily. We will message before entering the pool area. Per original stipulations, please return the home to its original cleanliness to assist as we get older and find it harder to clean, clean, clean.
Other things to note:
Sleeps 1-12+ including two on couches. No pets. Social gatherings are fine as long as everything gets cleaned up and put back to its original state, thank you. Two bathrooms upstairs, One downstairs. The outside dog is shy and friendly. He does bark at night and can be shut in the pool area. The outdoor cats will lounge around pool area despite me feeding them in the Morton building. If your groups gives them snacks they will bother you. None of the farm animals are to come indoors no matter what they say. They are not inside/outside pets. They do not come inside the house or garage. Hunting dogs go in attached garage, please. There are 7 large smart TVs, a DVD and DirectTV. During the pool season I will be arriving once a day to tend to pool things. I'll try to be ghost-like and quick. Again, we are proud of our house.
