This Hungry Horse property was very clean and beautiful. The backyard was beautiful and the gazebo by the river was very relaxing after a day at the park. Conveniently located, just a short drive to the park.

The place is great for two couple or family. All accomodations are top notch with well stock kitchen. Property grounds are gorgeous and gazebo overlooking river is relaxing. A near perfect Basecamp if hiking GNP. Miriam is a greath hostess. Highly recommend this place, one of the best we've rented.

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience! The accommodations provided the perfect home base' for our adventures. Miriam, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. Parking was easy, the VRBO was meticulously clean, and the grounds were lovely.I cant imagine a better place to stay near the west entrance of Glacier!

The home is beautiful. Everything you need is there. There was a lovely view over the water and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the fire table at night. There’s so many options available with this house. I would highly recommend it.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our visit to Glacier National Park. We were only about 10 minutes from the park entrance. The apartment was very nice, extremely well thought out and the best stocked vacation rental we've stayed in. Our host Miriam was very attentive to any questions or requests and made sure we had everything we needed. She even had bear spray for us! The yard was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out with a fire or watching the river. Thanks so much for such a restful place to stay.

The host is friendly and kind. She has gone the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. The home is clean and well supplied so you feel like you are home. The back yard, patio, and gazebo right in the rivers edge is serene and picturesque. The location is perfect for driving or biking to the west glacier entrance as well as enjoying hungry horse reservoir. There is a grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants near by in the little town. This place could not have been more perfect for our stay.

The house and location was wonderful - much better than the VRBO description. Miriam was an incredible host - so easy to communicate with and truly caring. The space was large and the back yard was wonderful - gardens everywhere and a gazebo overlooking the river. This was the best furnished house we’ve ever stayed in. And, it was only a 15 minute drive to the West entrance if glacier National Park. We will definitely be back!!!!

This place is absolutely beautiful and our host, Miriam, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we might need. It is close to the west gate entrance to Glacier. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again. I would give more than five stars if I could.

Basement apartment was very clean. Contrary to "basement apartment" title, extensive windows made it bright and cheerful. Furnishings were adequate and kitchen was especially well furnished. Patio was very pleasant, and we made extensive use of it. Yard was a beautiful garden. Host was very welcoming. Location was great for access to Glacier National Park.

Our stay here was only for 2 nights but this place is amazing! The home is very well supplied with kitchen essentials, games, and bathroom amenities. The living area is comfy for winding down with a movie after a busy day exploring. The location is close to Glacier, Whitefish, Flathead Lake and many other great places to visit. The backyard and gazebo out to the river is the best part of this home and that is saying a lot based on the inside being amazing. Miriam communicated so well and helped with anything we needed. Definitely will stay again if in the area. Truly one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in.

We arrived here late in the day and Miriam had the rental ready for us. All of us were very impressed with the home. Everything was top notched. Rental was stocked better than most homes. She paid attention to all small details from having care items in the bathrooms to having two types of outside cooking devices. Barbecue grill plus a flat grill. Located close to grocery store and other attractions.

We loved everything about our stay at this property, from the clean, spacious, comfortable, and well stocked rooms and kitchen to the beautiful location and the back yard with covered seating areas and access to the river. This was a wonderful place to stay! We were a bit nervous since it was a basement listing and we have not particularly like basement listings before but this one was amazing. The high ceilings and lots of natural light made it feel more like a stand alone property. It was also a great base to explore Glacier park from. The owner was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I am very picky about cleanliness but this place was wonderfully clean and well maintained. Not to mention the backyard looked like something out of a magazine. We (husband, wife, and kids ages 10 and 8) would all recommend this place!

We met in VA while he was going to school at VA Tech and I was working as a nurse. I love to hosts friends and family and meeting people of different cultures and different walks of life. We had traveled all over the world and appreciated having a comfortable place to stay. I would love to share with others this place that I love, Glacier National Park.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Across the street is a boat rental, down the block is a raft and kayak rental. It is walking distance to the post office, grocery store, and restaurant with the best huckleberry ice cream,
and a gift shop with reasonable prices.

What makes this property unique

It has a beautiful yard where kids can play and a gazebo that overlooks the middlefork of the Flathead river.
