Wonderful stay in Ocala

Wonderful clean home with a relaxing backyard that had a covered patio with a nice patio set, fenced yard and inviting pool. Nice location, close to many trails & parks.

Quiet and Well Maintained!

Stayed at this property for 10 Days and felt very comfortable! Neighborhood was very quiet and the property was well maintained! Bed was comfortable and everything advertised as add on’s all worked as advertised!

I was going to give this a better review but the pool was unusable for the entire time we stayed.The inside very clean and tidy. Hot water plentiful , no trash bags which caught us off guard, but zero issues in the home. The first issue we had was upon arrival there is a tiny home on the driveway next to the house (occupied). Listen when you have kids, security is paramount at least for us. It Just placed in back of my mind a thought each time we left. It would have been better if it was disclosed. To this point, our parking area was on 2 rows of 1’ square pavers far left of the lot, So it wasn’t clear and we contacted the owner. The pool service showed up within 1 hrs of checking in (hoping he could work a miracle). I’m a pool contractor and I test water where ever I go, when you have kids it’s just important ya know..:/. So it wasn’t even close to swimmable visibly or by chemical readings, so it wasn’t like we didn’t like the way it looked or being picky. (Note I don’t blame the owner, but it’s isn’t my problem either) . Heck we couldn’t see the floor of the pool. We were counting on the pool because it was the failsafe, things for the kids to do when bored and between outings. We ended up leaving a day early and eating the cost extra night. Good luck.

Property wasn’t “as advertised.” A portable shed was placed in the driveway and during our stay, the owner started renting the shed as a separate property and we were asked to park in the yard so the other renter could park in our driveway. We also had te county officials come to our door twice to inform us that the shed wasn’t permited for occupancy. Not something we wanted to deal with during a 3 week stay. Don’t stay here.

House is cute, in quiet neighborhood but it was not clean at all. There was hair all over bathroom floor, crumbs all over the top of microwave,dead bugs by back door, and overall the house smelled weird.

Okay for a one or two night stay

The interior has been updated by a professional and it shows. The neighborhood is older and the homes show it but really didn't affect our stay. What did however, was an unauthorized party held at the property before we arrived. Not the owners fault but a heads up or small refund offer would have been nice since it did make it undesirable. Dirty pool and sticky floors as well as trash in the backyard.

I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. The floors were dirty, there was still coffee left in the coffee maker, toys were left all over the pool area, and there were a couple stains on the rug. We also found a dead roach in the guest bathroom underneath a makeup towel. There was also a car left in the driveway from previous renters for almost the entire week with no communication about it. This was a little confusing when we first arrived because we didn’t really have clear check-in instructions and weren’t sure if someone was still at the house. We ended up having to park in the grass. The house itself was nice, but I do feel the cleanliness and communication could have been much better
