This is a beautiful spot on Candlewood Lake. The house grounds are beautifully manicured and the views nothing short of spectacular I gave this property only 4 stars because it really needs some updating. The ceilings have water damage and are peeling. Also many of the kitchen appliances don’t work. At this price per day that shouldn’t be the case.

We had a wonderful four-day stay at this beautiful lake house! The views are absolutely breathtaking from every level of the home, and the location in a quiet, no-wake cove made it especially peaceful and relaxing.The house itself is very spacious, exceptionally clean, and has plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. There are so many amenities throughout the property that we had almost everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway.The large indoor gourmet kitchen was great for cooking and gathering, and the outdoor kitchen was an added bonus. We especially enjoyed having the pizza oven! Just be prepared—it took about four hours for the pizza oven to fully heat up, so plan ahead. Also, the kitchen is well equipped, but you’ll want to bring your own spices and things like foil, parchment paper, flour, and cornmeal if you plan to do a lot of cooking or use the pizza oven.Overall, we had a fantastic four days and really enjoyed being able to bring our own boat and take advantage of the lake. The combination of the incredible views, peaceful cove, beautiful home, convenient parking, private dock, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable stay.

Our group of ten enjoyed our rental of this property! Gorgeous views of beautiful Candlewood Lake from this property made it hard to leave. The home is very comfy and what’s nice is to have plenty of lake toys included with the rental. We loved this quieter location on the lake…the R&R was exactly what we needed! The owner is very responsive and made our visit one to always remember!

The house was beautiful and was exactly as stated in the listing. We were there to surprise another friend for her birthday and unfortunately were there only 3 nights. We all would have loved to have been there longer. The property is beautiful. I would certainly recommend.

Our group of eight had a fabulous stay at this property celebrating our 60th birthdays. The setting is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of spaces, both inside and outside, to relax and gather. Our favorite spot was the sitting area down by the dock where we could enjoy the sunshine and the lake.The house is beautifully appointed with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a group. The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked for cooking and entertaining.We will definitely be returning!

What A Wonderful Weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at the lake house in New Fairfield! Everything was fantastic and the house was absolutely beautiful. Donatella made us feel right at home and she could not have been more welcoming and gracious. The area was so pretty during the wintertime and the lake had a surreal appearance being frozen. It was so quiet and peaceful. The house was so spacious and inviting we felt like we didn’t want to leave! Overall we had a fabulous weekend and would highly, highly recommend staying here!!

We just returned from an incredible, memorable stay at Donatella’s beautiful lake house! It was spotless, spacious, comfortable and exceeded all expectations! We enjoyed relaxing by the lake, kayaking, paddle boarding and preparing meals together while taking in the spectacular views. The huge indoor and outdoor kitchens are equipped with everything one could need..,and more! We especially appreciated that the drawers and cabinets were clearly labeled which made it easy to find everything we needed, the two dishwashers and two oversized refrigerators. Other wonderful amenities - the Sonos sound system with speakers inside and out, full-size washer and dryer and plenty of lake towels provided.Donatella checked in with us to be sure that we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to our few questions. We highly recommend and look forward to returning next summer!

Beautiful Lake House

We recently stayed at this stunning lake house for our family gatherings, and it was truly a memorable experience. The house itself is a gem, exuding beauty and charm throughout. Absolutely stunning! Our stay at this gorgeous house on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut was nothing short of magical. The home is beautifully decorated and features an abundance of windows that frame breathtaking views of the lake.From the moment we arrived, the owner went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. She was incredibly responsive and attentive, making us feel right at home. Whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay, her hospitality truly made a difference.Her house is simply amazing and the different levels of the home provide amble space away from your guests if needed also. Everything is so clean and comfortable that you feel as though this is your home. We spent four delightful days in this lovely home, enjoying the serene environment and stunning decor. It was indeed a perfect home away from home. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! My family and I are coming back in July and this is our number 1 spot that we will be requesting to stay at again

Really beautiful home! The wood burning oven was incredible for a pizza night outdoors, and the little grass deck below the main level was a perfect spot for games. Absolutely no negatives, would come back in a heart beat!
