Comfortable space with enjoyable sunlight in the living room. Host was very responsive to questions. Beds were very comfortable and grateful that dogs were welcome. Some updating of features like window blinds and lighting would be helpful.
Nice and easy check in and as advertised in a quiet neighborhood. Snow was cleared from the driveway and walks and place was clean. We enjoyed it. Nice and warm with the radiators going, tho they make a bit of noise, they are very effective.
The apartment is bright and sunny, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. There is a view of Back Cove from the living room (and sunrise over the water). The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful but just a short drive into downtown Portland. Bike friendly! David provided privacy but was there if needed. We had a wonderful time!
This is our second time going. The property is comfortable yet convenient to EVERYTHING! I can be at the mall in 10 minutes. I can be at the Old Port in 5 minutes. I can drive or Uber. I can see the water from the Livingroom window. Dogs are welcome which is another plus! It's all you need for a relaxing time in the heart of Portland but close by in a quiet neighborhood. I hope to go again soon. Thank you!
We had a fantastic time. I had no idea how close to everything I was. I could see the ocean from the living room. We were in a quiet upscale neighborhood. I could drive to the old port, the mall or towards Westbrook within 10 minutes! I was central to EVERYTHING! I cannot wait to go again. And the best part was that I could bring my dog and the place had a beautiful backyard perfect for the dog! THANK YOU!

Great Location, But Not Quite as PicturedWe recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. The biggest highlight was definitely the location—it was incredibly convenient. For that reason alone, it worked well for our trip. However, the rental itself was much older than expected. The photos on the listing made it appear more updated and polished than it actually is. Some furnishings were worn, and certain areas of the home could use maintenance and a deep clean. It wasn’t terrible by any means, but it didn’t quite live up to what was advertised online. If you're looking for a place in a great spot and don't mind a more dated or lived-in feel, this might work for you. Just adjust your expectations going in.

The coffee maker didn’t work and was not replaced. A major inconvenience. There were no scissors, nor sharp dinner knives, no bath mat despite my requesting them. There was no waste basket in my master bedroom. I paid a top rate and yet there was no cable TV. Even with these drawbacks I enjoyed my week in Portland. Richard Weingarten
