Hudson Valley Retreat With Heated Pool & Jacuzzi

Our newly renovated home sits on 4 acres of private property, 2 hours outside of NYC. A few miles from Woodstock, the Catskills of the Shawangunks, this house is perfect for any weekend get away or vacation with family and friends.

We renovated our beautiful home the summer of 2016 with brand new hard wood floors, furniture and amenities.
Its open floor plan and design allows for multiple guest to enjoy large dinners and entertaining. With multiple bedrooms and large beds, everyone has a comfortable nights sleep. Our space is kid friendly with a fenced in backyard, tree house and finished basement with a pool table.
There are numerous places to sit and relax such as the sunken living room with large TV, Apple TV, HBO go/Netflix/FX/Hulu subscriptions, formal living room with a large sofa, cozy fireplace and 2 large reading chairs and ottomans. Our kitchen island seats 3 comfortably with a large round kitchen table that seats 8 conveniently beside it. The formal living room has yet to been used but seats 8, in addition to the dining room table in the screen in porch. The outdoor Hot tub is open year'round, perfect for cool nights. Plus, 3.5 baths makes getting ready for multiple family super easy!

Great Family Getaway!

This home is fantastic! We had a great week with friends and family swimming in the pool, playing soccer in the huge yard, and cooking in the wonderful kitchen! Joe was extremely attentive and helpful and the house was very clean and cosy with lots of fun stuff to do. It's a great location with lots of awesome markets, restaurants, and farms a quick drive away. Couldn't have asked for a better week in the country!

This house is super charming and cozy and was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. We did not want to leave! Just perfection. The host was very accommodating and the bathrooms were well stocked with amenities which was important for a group of women. There was a welcome binder in the kitchen that highlighted only very reasonable house rules and things to do in the area. We felt very relaxed as soon as we entered the property and would definitely return again!

Property was well-maintained. Host responded to communication in a timely manner. We appreciated that the indoor and outdoor dining areas were spacious enough to allow for all of us to sit together at meals. The children especially appreciated the media options available. No internet issues occurred during our stay. Number of bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficient for our needs. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay with several friends for a weekend.

The house was beautiful and spotless, and not cluttered. For longer stays it is important to have space to ‘unpack’ physically and mentally, and this house was perfect for both! Joseph went above and beyond to orient me to the house and ensured we had anything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. The highlight was the pool!

A great weekend with friends and family

I had a really nice stay at Joe's house with my family and my friend's family. The pool and diving board were a great feature and the property felt very private. Reasonable drive from NYC. The house was well kept and everything in good working order. Joe was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay again soon.

A Beautiful Retreat

We enjoyed 4 days at this property and it is just as it appears in the pictures. I would highly recommend it for couples or adults who are getting together and families with older children. If you reside in a crowded city this property would certainly replenish you. The pool and deck were perfect and the whole outside living area was amazing. This is truly a well loved property. The interior decor is beautiful! We have a large family so the older children/adults stayed here and the younger children/parents stayed at VBRO property #1524289 and that worked out perfectly for us.

What a wonderful weekend our family enjoyed at Joe's property .His place was beyond expectations! We had 4 children under 10 and 4 adults and everyone enjoyed the pool There was plenty of space for all of us - inside and out side. All we had to bring was our food - everything else was provided. Enjoyed a great weekend with family in Joe's immaculate and well-appointed home. Relaxing pool, deck and jacuzzi with surrounding foliage for privacy. We really enjoyed staying at Joe's home! This is THE GETAWAY house. Not only is the house absolutely beautiful, there are also entertainments like pool, jacuzzi, (yes!), Home entertainment, etc. To keep our weekend relaxed and fun. This house was wonderful! We spent an amazing weekend hanging with family, swimming in the pool/hot tub, and playing games on the porch. There was a welcome basket upon our arrival, which is a really nice perk. :) Joe was a very attentive host and made himself available at any time for questions. You can tell that he takes good care of the house! We will definitely be back soon!

Awesome weekend getaway

My wife and I rented the house for 3 days with a few other couples. The house is beautiful and is perfect for a group vacation - never really had to leave to property. The pool deck is a big private area and gets sun almost the entire day. The screened in back patio is a perfect place to eat and/or hangout. The front yard is very large and was great for a little Wiffleball game or tossing around a football. We got a little bit of rain, but we were able to shoot pool and play darts in the basement. Grocery store was about 8 minutes away and had everything we needed. A very convenient 2 hour drive from Manhattan - I would recommend this house to anybody.
