My husband had a job at Tyson and stayed in this place from November to January. I drove from Arkansas and stayed 4 nights with him and I felt comfortable there. Very cute, screened back porch is fantastic when warmer days were had. We walked down to the water, very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely get this place again if he had to return to Alabama for work. 10/10

The owners of the home were very kind and communicative. There were some issues I noticed when our party arrived, so I messaged the hosts to let them know about them, so that we would not be charged for the issues. They offered to send someone to fix the issues (a faulty door knob, and a slightly leaky toilet) We were there, so I said it would be fine. The homeowners came by to try and fix the doorknob, were unable to do so, and put paper towels in the hole. They said someone would be by the next day to fix the toilet (the day we checked out) At 7:30 AM, the next day(the day we checked out) two men banged on the door until I opened it. I was there with another female friend and my young daughter. I didn’t feel comfortable letting them come in, but they said they were sent by the homeowner to fix the toilet issue. I felt this was very unnecessary and could have waited until we checked out at 11:00.
